He has no obligation to marry her. If he didn't enjoy the experience, he can case her aside. The woman is then a whore and must be stoned for whoredom.

As Deuteronomy 22:23-29 pretty clearly state, the rapist dies in all situations unless he marries the virgin he raped, and pays her father off. The second guy dies no question. So unless the two lovebirds get married, it's another Biblical situation where everybody winsdies.

The scriptures that refers to rape is Deuteronomy 22:25-27, But if a man find a betrothed damsel in the field, and the man force her, and lie with her: then the man only that lay with her shall die.
26 But unto the damsel thou shalt do nothing; there is in the damsel no sin worthy of death: for as when a man riseth against his neighbour, and slayeth him, even so is this matter:
27 For he found her in the field, and the betrothed damsel cried, and there was none to save her.

She is NOT bound to that man, in such cases?!!??

He hath humbled her. She's damaged goods now. She didn't humble herself, it was done to her. By him. That's why he is now responsible for her for the rest of her life.

He also failed to note that Deuteronomy 22:28-29 refers to a virgin WHO IS NOT BETROTHED (that is, has not been pre-sold to a husband), while Deuteronomy 22:25-27 (and the preceding "in the city" verses) refers to a virgin who IS BETROTHED (that is, the property of a husband).

When the unsold virgin loses her virginity, only her father is harmed. Therefore, he must be compensated for his loss.

When the SOLD virgin loses her virginity to someone other than her husband, her husband is harmed, and he may demand his money back from her father. Thus, two men are harmed. Given the frequent use of arranged marriages to cement bonds between families in that time, more than a few coins could be at stake; peace between rivals, business relations, and more could be at risk!

If your two month old daughter were raped, I'd say unless it were by an unfortunately-endowed man, your daughter would probably be dead.

Now, if you mean if she's raped when she's old enough to survive the experience, then it may or may not be her fault. Perhaps she is dressing like a harlot and flirting with men and going out unescorted. This is one of the few things the Muslims have right; dressing like a whore ready to be used (showing off one's figure, wearing short skirts, etc.) arouses uncontrollable lusts in men, and women should avoid this at all costs.

More important than fault is the Biblical consequences:

If she is betrothed (that is, "engaged", or pre-sold by her father) to a man and raped in the city, and doesn't cry out, then she is to be put to death, along with the man.

If she is betrothed and raped in the country, since nobody can hear her, only the man is to be put to death.

If she is NOT betrothed and raped anywhere, then the man must compensate your husband for the loss of his daughter's virginity, and he must then marry her, and cannot divorce her but must take care of her for the rest of her life.

What if the woman is modest in her behavior and clothing and still is raped? She prays regularly,always attends church, bible study, even studies on her own, abides to the laws of God to the very best she can. Does she still deserve to be raped?

If my daughter was ever of age and she was raped I'd kill the man. Plain and simple. Or any man for that fact that thinks just because they are bigger and stronger that they have the right to take what they want from a woman. And if men are suppose to be stronger than a woman why is it rapists are such weak willed men that give in to temptation? Should they not pray and ask God to stop them from committing such an immoral act?
