Blah, blah, blah... where in the Bible does it say that one should wait for anything before engaging in sex with a virgin woman, that would make a fine Christian wife? As long as the girl's not married, it's all fair game, bless Christ Jesus. If you don't believe me ask the patriarcs of the Old Testament, or King David, you can find them in the Good Book, I recommend you get on reading it.

But obviously the man does have fault in choosing a women who does not make a fine christian wife else she would not have refused to marry him in the first place, or discussed abortion.

ok i'm sorry. i don't really know about Christian's and how you guys work on this case using bible or whatsoever. i just see this case from humanity perspective. i'm an atheist and i'm searching for someone that can teach me about Christian. Yes, we would. It may seem distasteful, but we are commanded to do so by God's Word:

If a man find a damsel that is a virgin, which is not betrothed, and lay hold on her, and lie with her, and they be found;
Then the man that lay with her shall give unto the damsel's father fifty shekels of silver, and she shall be his wife; because he hath humbled her, he may not put her away all his days. (Deut.22:28-29)

If you have a problem with that, I suggest you take it up with God -- they are His rules, after all.

The Bible was physically written by men who were inspired by God. You make it sound like it was completely the product of human imagination, but it wasn't. The Bible attests to its inspirational foundations...

I recently received a letter from a concerned parent. In the letter she told me that her daughter had been raped, but was refusing to marry her rapist as per Deuteronomy 22:28-29. The stupid girl actually wants to press charges on the man!

Not only that, but that she also plans to kill the poor unborn baby her rapist had given her! Sickening! Have young people today got NO morals?

Any and all advice on what I can say to convince this girl to do the right thing would be great. Should I start with the basics ?

"Whore, you'll burn in Hell for all eternity - unless you marry your rapist"??

Or should I go for a more subtle approach??

I would not blam her because I would shot his fucking head off okay and I am not talking about the one on his shoulders! I would not marry the guy who raped me he would be missing parts! It is a sin to rape a child or any one and I would not want some one like that back on the streets when they will 30 days okay! I don't believe that you've ever opened a Bible in your life lady. You need to post the Scripture chapter and verse if you expect anyone to take you seriously.
