  • Marrying for Sex

When I was a youth pastor back in Kansas, I would answer questions about sex, family and marriage on a weekly basis. As a result, I am well studied on what the Bible says about marriage and sex, and I would like to put that all to work now to speak out on something I feel the LORD moving me to cover: Marrying for Sex.

It is a sad but true fact of life that humans are sexual creatures. We cannot change this, but there are ways of living that will help us avoid impurity and lust.

As True Christians we understand that sexual activity of any kind is wrong unless it is taking place between a husband and a wife. However, not all of us have the luxury of marrying at puberty. In fact, most don't get married until after high school or even college! That means we become sexually capable long before we have a mate to take it out on.

So what are we to do to take care of our sexual temptations in the mean time? GET MARRIED!

The Bible is very clear about it in the following passages:

    1 CORINTHIANS 7:1,2,8,9

1 Now concerning the things whereof ye wrote unto me: It is good for a man not to touch a woman.
2 Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband.

8 I say therefore to the unmarried and widows, it is good for them if they abide even as I.

9 But if they cannot contain, let them marry: for it is better to marry than to burn.

It may sound controversial, but it's straight from the Bible so it is correct. IF YOU CANNOT ABSTAIN, GET MARRIED.

Do not waste time looking for love. Your love belongs to JESUS. It is unacceptable to dabble in self-abuse and lust while waiting around for "the one."

Men, find a good Baptist woman to clean your house, cook your meals and do her duties as a wife.

Women, find an upright Baptist man to provide for you, keep you holy and manage the household.

I suggest that all singles who are having trouble abstaining start browsing our personal ads right here.

So hurry up and tie the knot before GOD sends you to HELL!

This is solid biblical advice Brother Bob4God. All that is required is that Soldiers for Christ are produced; that we go forth and multiply. I note that God didn’t give Adam a choice of 10 or 20 women and ask, “Any take your fancy?” Now, you could argue that God knew what Adam wanted. If you do, I’ll agree – Adam wanted a Help meet for him and a baby oven.

I note too that this solves the problem of people who hit every branch as they fell out of the Ugly Tree – just pair ‘em up. (The children will make good Soldiers – they should scare the enemy at 400 yards.)

That is an artifact of modern sick-ular lie-beral society and its messed-up feminazi values system. God's Word doesn't tell us to wait that long to get married:

Ezek. 16:7-8: I have caused thee to multiply as the bud of the field, and thou hast increased and waxen great, and thou art come to excellent ornaments: [thy] breasts are fashioned, and thine hair is grown, whereas thou [wast] naked and bare. Now when I passed by thee, and looked upon thee, behold, thy time [was] the time of love; and I spread my skirt over thee, and covered thy nakedness: yea, I sware unto thee, and entered into a covenant with thee, saith the Lord GOD, and thou becamest mine.

If following the Bible gets in the way of pursuing that degree in sick-ular biology (i.e., evil-utionism) or "women's studies" (i.e., theoretical and applied lezbertarianism), then something has to give, and it's not the Bible. You can always get a degree in a Godly subject some other way; as one of the proctors in Landover Baptist Community College's correspondence program, I can vouch for the excellence of that program.
This church is dedicated to preaching True Christianity™ and the King James Bible exactly as they are, with no alterations to make them more politically correct for modern liberals. If you think that we've misquoted or twisted Scripture or quoted any verse out of context, please explain in detail how we've done so. Otherwise, if what you read on this site offends you, then you're offended by Almighty God and His Word, not by us.
