Oh and 16-year-olds can get married in the state of Iowa with their parents permission. Oh and the age of sexual consent in Iowa is 16 as well, so even if the Pastor was lusting after her (I'm not saying he is) they would not "put his ass in jail". He would be damned to hell, his wife would divorce him and he'd probably be run out of town on a rail, but he would not be arrested.

I am a 25 year old female, have been a fan of the books, then films since the age of 11 when the first book got realised. I have NEVER once in my touch touched drugs, and only been with one guy whom I met when I was 16 it was a after a year of dating and we're still together to this day.

I like Rock music but I have done since I could remember. I don't wear much make up and I love my jeans and Hoodys, (Superman is my favourite one at the moment but I also love my Nintendo one.) I have friends who are Goths and they are some of the most sweetest people I have ever met.

I am officially offended that you put girls into that category.

Emma Watson is a beautiful girl who is out living her live and wearing fashion. Daniel Radliffe's play (Which I have seen and is beautiful) is ART. Look it up. Nudity is in art thought out the history's.

You really believe that advertisers don't use subliminal messaging? They even admit to using subliminal messaging and you don't believe them? Because you're just too smart?

I'll give you a little test, go to a popular restaurant (Moxies, BP, something like that) at the main dinner rush, and listen to the music. It's a fast 4/4 beat, now go back during the slow time (early afternoon, late evening) and listen to the music, it's a slow 3/4 beat. The reason behind this is that they've studied people like lab rats and found that a fast 4/4 beat tends to make people eat faster and leave (opening a table up) and a slow 3/4 beat makes people relax, eat slower, order more drinks, etc.

I guess what gets me the most is that this is what I thought was common knowledge. Subliminal messages have been used since the late 19th century (that's 1850-1900 since I doubt you understand that). If you ever took a course in advertising, you would learn about it.

Harry Potter is a work of fiction, which is the reason we're here right? Comparing one piece of fiction to another. Bible or Harry Potter. Well I lined up all night to get my copies of Harry Potter, can't say I did for the Bible. The story for me was a little jumpy, you know? The charactors weren't believable and it seemed to be written like it was for a child, you know?
Harry Potter on the other hand is a work of brilliance.
And how can a book about a school turn someone into a Harlot? When I read HP my first thought wasn't 'Oh my, must go and f.uck every boy I come across.' I think it was more along the lines of.
