Oh, and the reason why young men get beaten earlier is because of their increased brain activity. They understand better than girls, and can use knowledge to sin much faster. Girls just save up their sins for when they hit puberty, pierce themselves, and sleep with the football team, so they usually have to be beaten for several more years than a stronger male child.

After the age of seven for girls and five for boys 2x4's, studded leather belts, and hickory limbs become more viable.

Hitting a child with a 2x4, a studded leather belt, or a tree limb, is abuse, and the parent who would do such a thing does not deserve children.

Abuse? You should see Pastor Zeke’s daughter Stacy. I’ve seen him discipline Stacy so badly she can barely walk into Sunday Worship and her dress will be covered with blood by the end of Service from her wounds reopening. Yet you don’t see Stacy out late at night with the boys or any of the other nasty stuff. Stacy is a such a good girl she won Virgin of The Year at the last Purity Ball. As Stacy said in her acceptance speech if it wasn’t for her father’s loving discipline she would be walking down the highway with a mattress strapped on her back looking for the first boy she could find. But thanks to Zeke’s loving parenting Stacy never wants to leave him.

Dear Pastor, after reading the news this morning I was reminded of this thread. What is a good Christian to do when the parenting goes a little too far (in the eyes of the radical courts)? A Christian's right to discipline their child is the most sacred bond between a parent and a child.

Bronx superintendent put daughter in boiler, killed teen for using computer

A crazed Bronx building superintendent confessed Saturday to strangling his 14-year-old daughter and dumping her unconscious into the basement furnace, police sources said.

The still-burning corpse of Anna Matias was pulled from the furnace that heats the Highbridge building's boiler just after 11 a.m. Saturday, police and witnesses said.

An hour earlier, the victim's father, Miguel Matias, called 911 to say he had strangled his daughter for using his computer to chat with a boy, the sources said.

Matias said he then stripped off her clothes, opened the manhole-size cover to the furnace and threw her body inside, they said.

Miguel Matias is walked out of 44th precinct after turning himself in on Saturday.


The teen's clothes remained scattered next to the boiler late Saturday as police searched the furnace for the rest of her charred remains. "It's such a shock," building resident Rosa Villavane said. "He was in my apartment just two days ago, and I never saw him mad."

Sources said Matias, 36, was once confined for a month to a Pennsylvania mental institution after he doused the family car with gasoline and tried to ignite it with Anna and one of her two younger brothers inside.

The children were saved, and Matias' wife, Jocelyn, soon left him, sources said.

Matias took a job as the superintendent of the seven-story Walton Ave. building 17 months ago and moved into a basement apartment there with his new girlfriend, neighbors said.

Anna and her brothers would sometimes visit him on weekends after spending the week with their mother in Pennsylvania, the neighbors said, adding that Matias used to volunteer at a local homeless shelter.

Upon learning of her daughter's death, Anna's hysterical mother collapsed at the 44th Precinct Saturday night and was rushed to Bronx Lebanon Hospital.

Neighbors were stunned at the ghastly crime, saying Matias seemed to love his children and had their pictures displayed throughout his apartment. "I never saw him disrespectful," building resident Daisy Bautista said. "He played with the kids. He used to walk up and down the street with them, and he'd buy them ice cream."

A stone-faced Matias first told police he dumped the body in the woods, but cops didn't believe him and found the girl's remains when they searched the building, Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly said.

"Everybody loved [Anna]," said Anibol Mota, 19, who frequently spent time with the teenager in a nearby park. "She was really nice. She was quiet but very popular."With Alison Gendar

O.K. There must be a reason... But if you keep her locked in the basement alll the time, so that she never leaves, why do you have to beat her?
