I have recently become aware of a growing menace in our society. It has gotten to the point where I can no longer walk down the streets without passing by some lethargic teenager with puffy, red eyes or a group of Negros hunched behind a dumpster. I try to spread the word of Jesus to them, and pray for them, but oftentimes all I get back is a big "piffle YOU". Friends, we need to fight back against this deadly weed of the devil, lest we all be consumed by hellfire!

Marihuana, also called reefer, dope or hemp, is a weed commonly grown in dirty, Godless unsaved foreign countries such as Mexico. It was popularized by messicant heathens, who brought it into our clean, Godly lands. It is often used by such scum as hippies, messicants, negroes, and teenagers rebelling against Jesus. What we need to do is show them that they will never get into Heaven if they don't accept Jesus and the 1611 KJV Bible, and stop using dope.

That being said, if you believe your teenager is using marihuana, all hope is not lost. First, you must confirm that your child is indeed using marihuana. Here are some warning signs:

• Has red eyes
• Has gained weight, is eating too much
• Spends time alone with friends
• Listens to Satanic music such as Bob Marley or The Beatles
• Seems overly tired
• is neglecting their personal hygeine and wears clothes such as hemp sweaters
• uses deodorant to cover up the smell of marihuana

If any of these signs apply, it is likely that your child is using marihuana. If this is the case, action needs to be taken to ensure that they will not be damned to Hell. Firstly, confiscate all of their marihuana. Next, show them the love of Jesus and insist that they study the 1611 KJV Bible. Nothing can help them through tough periods like this better than faith in Jesus. If your child continues to smoke marihuana, you will need to beat them, as it is possible that they are possessed by a demon that is causing their narcotic addiction.

If all fails, well...

If a man have a stubborn and rebellious son, which will not obey the voice of his father, or the voice of his mother, and that, when they have chastened him, will not hearken unto them:

Then shall his father and his mother lay hold on him, and bring him out unto the elders of his city, and unto the gate of his place;
And they shall say unto the elders of his city, This our son is stubborn and rebellious, he will not obey our voice; he is a glutton, and a drunkard. And all the men of his city shall stone him with stones, that he die: so shalt thou put evil away from among you; and all Israel shall hear, and fear. (Deuteronomy 21:18-21)

Bob Marley grew up in a country in which Marijuana is completely legal! If marijuana was socially accepted in the United States you and everyone else would be doing it. Marley is not a bad person for doing it.

I don't know if you realize that Cannabis is a herb created by God, that actually has a medical function unlike Alcohol and other excess in life. When has it been dangerous?

Even science believers say marihuana is 50 to 70% more carcinogenic than tobacco¹. The chance of death by heart attack increases about six fold for people who use marihuana².
Tobacco causes approximately 440,000 deaths a year.
About 30% of the people in the US smoke, this is similar to lifetime use of marihuana, so marihuana is responsible for 750,000 to 2,500,000 deaths a year. Remember it took 400 years after tobacco was introduced before science finally accepted that it is a drug and it is seriously harmful. Just because scientists haven't yet admitted the dangers of marihuana doesn't mean they are nonexistent, it is simply hippies and drug cartels lobbying to keep the dangers under wraps.

Although all this is true...
People who smoke marijuana smoke less than the average tabbacco smoker, unless they smoke tobacco and marijuana together. For a couple of reasons one marijuana is pretty expensive! and it is not addicting like nicotine.

It is scientifically proven to not be addicting, unlike nicotine which is. And if any case it does become addicting, it arises from an extreme amount of use making the user dependent on it.

Since they smoke significantly less, the damage to the lungs is not close to being as bad as with cigarettes. It's also hard to smoke cannabis everyday and constantly because the after effects are very exhausting.

I have already mentioned previously that Marijuana is not good to be used in excess, but they do have medical value.

Can I find Marijuana directly in the bible? No, but I can find lots against intoxication, and if you don't think you're intoxicated when you're stoned you're a deluded fool.

Oh Wow, this is heavy man.

Thought I might say a little something and see what happens. I don't say this as an advocate for kids to use, but as an adult. We are free to make our own decisions.

Here goes man. The bible says that God made everything, including plants. God also said that we are to partake of these plants and use them. Therefore, Mary Jane being a plant, was made by God and we are told to partake or use Mary Jane as we see fit.

If that is not the truth of it, then let me know why this is said in the bible and all religions are against its use.

Yes, yes, and if you plant some poppies, let them grow until the seed pods become especially engorged, slit the outside of these pods with a razor, let the sap run out and dry and blacken and scrape it off, you can then smoke the stuff...

Not that I'd especially reccomend doing that, it's quite addictive stuff, opium is.

That said, there is absolutely no scientific evidence that marijuana causes insanity or any kind of maniacal behavior as demonstrated in the 1930s film "Reefer Madness." While it does indeed reduce short term memory skills rather substantially during periods of prolonged use, it has relatively minimal permanent effects, if any. It's possibly one of the least addictive and damaging substances that humans have access to, certainly less so than alcohol or tobacco.

While no, I don't partake in marijuana, most civilized countries are moving towards a rationalization of policies against the stuff since no scientific evidence demonstrates it to be especially worse than alcohol or tobacco, both of which are quite heavily consumed in Western countries today.
