I believe masturbation is a healthy thing, especially for those whole think sex is only for marriage. Waiting until marriage means that young men and women have no natural way of dealing with their sexual tendencies. These tendencies could manifest in ways that are harmful to others. Sexually deviant behaviour often stems from people who were not dealing with their sexual energy properly. If you wish young men and women to wait until marriage, and not express their sexual energies in deviant ways (flashing, touching, which can escalate to rape), we must allow a natural way to deal with these feelings. If done in private, I believe this can be a healthy solution.

Every person who masturbates is a homersexual. Yesterday my wife was cooking dinner as usual. When the dinner was ready I went to call my younger son but when I opened the door he sat naked on his bed masturbating over a pornographic magazine! Of course I gave him a hard beating and made him pray to the LORD until bedtime. Me and my wife are in shock, I have beaten my sons all their lives but sometimes they don't seem to understand the will of God. I am very concerned about this and I simply don't know what to do. I have always given them a daily spanking before bedtime but I feel like they need more beatings so they can seriously feel God's anger. Should I beat them more often or is there a better way to make them understand?

Firstly, build a bonfire, as big as you can make it. Get your neighbours to help out if you need.

Secondly, throw him onto the fire for a few moments, just long enough so that he can truly understand what awaits him in eternal hell. If this doesn't discourage him from unholy acts, leave him there next time

You need to explain to him WHY masturbation is a bad thing. Otherwise, he'll have no reason to stop. If you don't explain to him, he may begin to wonder why other things are wrong, and may end up leaving the Christian community all together, a true tragedy.
I actually believe that there are two types of masturbation: masturbation as sexual release and masturbation as a form of lust. Masturbation as a form of lust is wrong because it requires us to fantasize and lust after women, which turns women into objects in a man's mind, making it difficult to form a marriage relasionship with a women.
Masturbation as a form of sexual release is when a large amount of sexual pressure is released through masturbation without lust or fantasy. I believe this is okay because it doesn't threaten to jeapordize a man's image of women. However, the fact that your son is already tieing masturbation to lust means that he will never be able to expierience this kind of masturbation anyway.
By the way, to you people who say that all masturbation is wrong, remember that the Bible never actually addresses masturbation, (The verse about the guy "spilling his seed on the ground," does not apply, as it happened during a marriage sex act and because the verse is in fact addressing the man's unwillingness to take responsibility in his marriage,) the Bible only addresses "sexual immorality" as wrong.

Children don't need to be convinced, that only encourages them to negotiate and nag and plead. Children need to learn obedience first, they need to be trained.

I have 7 younger siblings and my mother is dead of a tumour, so I've taken over a large part of the parenting. Also, I regularily council other teens on how to deal with sex and and I regularily teach sunday school.
In my expierience, trying to overly control and discipline children doesn't make them listen. It makes them rebel. Children will listen to you once they trust and love you. In my expierience, spanking and shouting at them makes them hate you.

Your unsaved opinions are worthless. We follow the Holy Bible, because that is God's literal instruction to us. God clearly says to beat your children hard and often. Don't worry about hurting them.
