Finding this site was a sign from god to not give up, It came to me in my darkest hour. Now that I'm here I'm certain I will find the wisdom to counsel my family and continue our lives in the live of the lord.
Sorry for my lack of introduction, Im a 30 year old, married with one son. We follow the teachings and go to church every sunday. Living in New Zealand.
Recently my son (15 years of age) has been courting a girl. I told him this is acceptable as long as he remembers everything from the church and intends to marry this girl before succumbing to his teenage impulses, He agreed.
I decided to meet this girl and her parents first, to make sure they were of the right stock and belief, and to my joy they were. I am good friends with the father of this girl, we are similar thinking in what I have done.
Now recently, I have come home from my job to find them under my room, commiting acts of evil, I don't want to go into detail as it pains me to recall but they were kissing and acting unrestrained. I made myself known and asked her to go unto her home. Where after I spoke to my son and made his sinful actions clear, He told me I was 'old fashioned' (since when was the teachings of our god old fashion? and I should loosen up. I decided he needed to be reprimanded and took him to my study for a spanking. He seemed to be accepting of his punishment so I ressumed reading genesis to find a teaching to clarify his actions to him, when suddenly 2 officers of the law knock on my door, telling me I ABUSED MY child, WHAT HERESY! They took me down to the jailhouse and made me sit amongst the sinners, I did not know what to do.
It made me feel filthy and disgusting, But I know it was just a test. What does one do when their own son and law enforcement seem bent on sin?
