Every father knows that daughters are completely useless. In theory they could be helpful in the household but that usually doesn't work out as planned. Daughters turn out to be whiners who are always complaining about how their head hurts after you hit them on the head with the Bible to discipline them for complaining too much. People often seem to forget that raising daughters is hard and unrewarding work.

As always the Holy Bible has very clear guidelines for how we can use our daughters. Let's take Judges 19:22-30 for example. It is unfortunate most people nowadays ignore God's clear instructions on how to solve money problems. The economy would not have been in its present state if Obama wouldn't have forced Americans to use their houses to load insane amounts of money to pay his insanely high taxes. Taxes which are only used to fund terrorists. God's solution to money problems is very simple. Sell your daughter! Exodus 21:7 "... a man sell his daughter to be a maidservant ..." And to make the deal more interesting Matthew 18:25 makes clear that you can also sell your wife if you want. Only sell your wife if you have someone else to cook and clean for yourself though!

To say that your daughter, or anyone's daughter, needs to be raped is awful. I don't care what part of the Bible you have read; I don't care how you have interpreted it; I don't care if you think I will go to hell or that I am a sinner; all I know is that if God does exist, and He is all-loving, all-merciful; then it is you who will be sent to Hell and not I. Would you like to know why I think this? It is because I have never wished harm on anything or anyone. I view people as equals - everyone is born equal (I believe Jesus himself said this - shown through his forgiveness of Mary Magdalane) and therefore is deserving of equal treatment. Men and women are equal. Your daughters (I hope to GOD you don't have any) are equal to you; and you should love them, not want them to suffer; to do that is most unnatural.
I think it's important to view the Bible in context. After all, it is a book. Unlike some other holy books, it is not the direct word of God, but His word interpretted and relayed by disciples and such like. Humans have, and always will be, self serving - this is clear - and it seems to me like the passages you quote are entirely this - a sexist and harmful generation of men who aimed to put women in their 'place' to serve themselves. The Bible has been a way to control for thoussands of years - which is a shame.
Much of it is selfless and should be read as such; I just think blindly reading all passages as truth and not having the intelligence to see past such 'truths' is wrong and sends entirely the wrong message about Christianity. Why do you think Christians have gained such a bad name throughout history? It is because of people like you who have destroyed lives in the name of 'God' - when in actual fact it is probable God and His Son would be ashamed of you for misconstruing His message for your own sick gain.
As for women being made to serve men - WHY? If women serve men ; who are so great and so wonderful - worthy in fact, of being served in the first place; then what is the point in them? If men ARE so wonderful, if fathers have the divine right to ownership of their daughters like they are nothing more than a vase or some other menial object, then why did God create women? Why not gift men with the right to bear children, why not gift men with the right to 'cook your dinner' (as you so wonderfully put).
It seems to me that someone who can't even cook dinner for themselves is not worthy of respect and is making themselves so. (And to say that men do other important jobs such as making the money etc etc is rubbish - my point is is that each member of both sexes can both make dinner AND get a job - IMAGINE THAT)

I admire those Christians who use their faith to benefit others for good - those who live by rules of love and acceptance. I admire those who have the sense of mind and the intelliegence to look at the Bible and see that it is not literal and often contradicts itself. I admire those who can see the Bibles teachings as a moral compass - one that should guide you to love ALL of God's creations and ALL people; because that is a good message, and one that everyone should follow, atheist and religious alike.

I think when it comes to teachings like this religion is not the issue. The issue with people like you is your own weakness of mind.
