Well, if I had it my way I would never had included Rhode Island amongst the original 13. Then there would only have been 12. But, that's me.

I don't see anything pagan about the American flag, but agree that it lacks more overt Christian symbolism.

What exatly are christians atheists? Neo-pagans? No wonder you want to defile the cross so.
    Sorry correction: christian, atheists.

The original mythology for swedish flag let me assume that it was upwards:

Wiki:According to the mythology, the 12th century Swedish king Eric the Holy saw a golden cross in the sky as he landed in Finland during the First Swedish Crusade in 1157. Seeing this as a sign from God he adopted the golden cross against a blue background as his banner, though the golden cross was changed later to a yellow cross due to practicality.

In what Christian context 13 represents unlucky, or anything in that matter?
What exactly are the pagan symbols for pagan god in US flag?

In many cultures the number 13 is considered to be very lucky. In the case of the US it is just based on the number of original colonies.

Correction: It is called "The Thirty Years' War".

Am I supposed to believe that Finnish flag was used as standard in medieval times, and you were there to see it?

Funny how you used the term fancy imagination.
Finland did not exist in the medieval times, only Sweden and Danmark

The point is that Finnish and Scandinavian flags represent christianity to me and christians atheists and neo-pagans in Finland. The finnish flag colours and cross are also linked to St. Georges flag, so there at least two pro Christanity links and common feeling to everyone that it is linked to the Christianity whetever your religion is.

The Scandinavian flags are a problem in the Afganistan, because locals see them representing Christianity in a islamic country. So if it is giving some problems to you, it is only a local problem, not a worldwide view.

How the explain your ignorance and the lack of history and truth.

All Scandinavia cross style flags has an Christian origin, the first one was the Danish flag (the oldest state flag in the world) which was referring to the Johannites in the crusade times. The swedish and danish flags were also presenting protestantism in the 30 year old in the war times in the Germany, do not ask me what is the war I am referring to. Finnish flag is also a copy of the danish style.

If any fennos-Scandinavian flags are use upwards as a standard, the cross is upwards.
