I'll try to explain this more deeply, looks like it was not clear from my brief description earlier.

You believe man was created by God, right? I think it's quite the opposite - that people created God (and all other gods) by their faith. First people needed to explain things they did not understand, like rain, storm, lightning, rainbow, etc. and when they learned it is not made by some supernatural entity, they still needed something to ease their minds, to focus on something else than their everyday troubles. They needed some comfort, some hope things will be better one day, and that's why they invented monotheistic religions and gods.

So you think rain, storms, lightning and rainbows just happen, that there's no Agent? What are the chances that an explosion (the big bang) created everything we see? Surely there'd be a better chance of a brick factory exploding and creating a house. What are the chances that life appeared from non-life and evolved slowly over time through random mutations into all the forms we see today? That is unbelievably improbable. It makes more sense to believe God supernaturally created the earth and all life in six days 6,000 years ago. For when you have eliminated the improbable, whatever remains, however impossible, must be the truth.

This is not about offending someone. It's about doing physical harm to children through some people's stupidity.

Do you honestly think, that this thread will encourage people to read bible? Are you really serious with that?
