It doesn't say anything about TORTURING them. You should wake up! I'm too lazy to actually open the Bible? Man, I read 40 books and I'm not even 20. I know English though it's not my native language. Again, I'm not even 20. Don't tell me I'm too lazy to do things. I'm probably more wise than you may have been in your entire life, but let's pretend "I'm wrong". Torturing your children is something people did back in 1400. Now, if you torture your own child, you may be in prison. I do believe in God, but I don't think He wants anyone to be tortured. Go and read more books, maybe you'll find out in what century you are now. Or are you too lazy to do that?

If you ask for an OPINION, then the hint ISN'T in any source you may give me, because it's my own personal OPINION. Please, try to read more books than your own Bible. It will help you understand the world you're living in NOW, not the world of year 1400.
I don't support them. I don't like them. But I don't think they should burn in Hell either. It's not like they killed anybody. The real ones who deserve punishment are those who kill and beat their children in the name of the Lord. We all pay for our own mistakes, and the only one who has the right to judge us and to decide the punishment is GOD. The ones that beat their children up are just pretending to be God for their children. They think they can decide the punishment by their own. That's a big mistake, acting like you have the right to decide the punishment for a human being. Again, before it was your children, it was God's. You don't have the right to punish him, only your son's / daughter's first parent ( Our Lord ) has the right to do this. Don't make Him angry.

Since you are clearly too lazy to actually open your Bible allow me to repeat: "Withhold not correction from the child: for if thou beatest him with the rod, he shall not die. Thou shalt beat him with the rod, and shalt deliver his soul from hell" (Proverbs 23:13-14)

Your opinion could not be less relevant. Actually, please just keep your yap shut from now on. You are a great example of why the Bible tells us women need to be silent (1st Timothy 2:11-12).

All that matters is God's opinion! Not clear on what God's opinion is on a certain matter?

    READ THE BIBLE !!!

But you are probably too stupid to get this.

First of all, we are taught that Hell means TORTURE ( as a punishment ) . Why would you torture your kid? God didn't allow you to have children to torture them. Who are you to decide the punishment of a human being? Before you slap your kid, remember that he or she is a kid of God, as we all are. As YOU are. You're just another child oh His. You have no right to decide the punishment by TORTURE of a human being. Let God decide if your children deserve punishment or not.
Once again the answer is in the Bible. It really is the bestest book there is.

Proverbs 13:24 He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes.

So in a very literal way Jesus (who is God) is telling us that if we love our children then we must use rod on them betimes.

What is so difficult to understand? You sound as if you only believe the bits of the Bible that fit your own personal likes and dislikes

Answer me this: what do you think Jesus says about the gaywise?

    Hint: it's in Leviticus 20:13

Seriously? The Gospel of Luke is quoting what Jesus (allegedly) said. Look at 14:23:

"And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled."

The following verses just carry on from there.

By that seriously twisted logic, because there's no "Book of Jesus" in the Bible, you're perfectly safe ignoring the whole lot of it. You seem to do so anyway, but that's not the point.

Also you didn't quote Jesus. You quoted a disciple. He is still learning from Jesus like a student does from a teacher. Also thank you, you also have a nice name

Christianity teaches to love thy neighbour. Love one another the same way as we ourselves would wish to be treated - I personally wouldn't want to be beaten with a rod.

    Hello, CM75! Nice name!

What is Christian ideology based upon in your opinion? Here, we True Christians™ firmly believe that it should be based on the Bible! And ONLY THE BIBLE! If and when we study the Scripture, we see that Jesus disagrees with you:

    Luke 14:26
If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.

Jesus, one of the Trinity, is also God. He disagrees also elsewhere:

    Proverbs 23:13
Withhold not correction from the child: for if thou beatest him with the rod, he shall not die.

Yes, there is your opinion and ideology, but do you see that your ideology is not Biblical nor Christian? Please, study the Bible, all of it, it will give you a view to the will of God in its TOTALITY AND MAGNIFICENCE!

    Isaiah 45:7
I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

    Yours in Christ,

    Elmer

Hello, dear. Usually I would give you my lovely re-written every time intro speech. Hi, welcome, check out the intro forum etc. But judging by your name, and your posts, I will instead redirect you to this. Please, instead of just going ahead and insulting us, why don't you talk to us? Get to know about us and the lovely connection the True Christians share with Jesus. If anything we say or do seems satanic, feel free to use scripture (from the KJV if possible ) to back up your claim. Any and all of your opinions will be respected, as long as you manage to back your claims up with scripture.

Well DUH! Doing everything that God commands us to do is the only way to prevent eternal damnation to the fires of Hell!!! (James 2:10)

You have to be incredibly stupid to ignore this, as you just demonstrated.
