Finally, the popular press is starting to recognize the importance of quality aircraft for big-time preachers like Pastor Zeke. The article I found today properly makes fun of Creflo Dollar.

He claims he needs a Gulfstream to haul food to needy countries. This is so laughable because the Airbus we are buying for Pastor Zeke would hold several Gulfstreams. And, Pastor Zeke will not be hauling cheap food to people who can find their own with a little effort.

All things considered, this is contributes to the issue of Pastors and their aircraft:

    ASSOCIATED PRESS

Being a mega-church pastor is a very demanding job. With all those fundraisers, and book tours, and real estate deals.... Sometimes it seems like it's almost impossible to find time to get on TV to ask people for money, let us know about their new book, and start a new capital campaign. These guys have so much to worry about! The LAST thing these men of God need to be worrying about is getting to the airport early and trying to find a seat on a commercial flight with the rest of those reprobates in first class.... Or-God forbid-even trying to wedge yourself in between a couple of runny-nosed schlubs in COACH. Lord knows the only "Coach" in the life of a mega-church pastor is his wife's handbag....
Some of you may have already heard about Creflo Dollar, the pastor of Atlanta's giant World Changers Church International, asking for financial help to "achieve our goal to purchase the Gulfstream G650 airplane." Well, it looks like they're going to get it.... The G650 goes for a cool $65 million, but don't worry-If a Church buys it, they don't have to pay any tax on it. It's a nice jet -- WAY better than those crappy $18 million Learjets that are barely fit for those Scientologist hobos Travolta and Cruise to fly. God's men deserve only the very best. And after 200,000 people commit to "sow" $300 or more, Pastor Dollar will finally be flying in the style he -- and Jesus -- deserves.

Here are some ways that a $65 million jet can be used by a pastor to further the Kingdom of God:
    1. He can finally have a straight flight to bring medical supplies to Africa without having to lay over in Tampa.
    2. It doubles as a nice, quiet place to read the Bible.
    3. He and his wife can finally enter the Mile-High-Club on a king-sized mattress as God intended, and not some cramped, stinky bathroom. #MissionaryPosition
    4. Two words: FULL BAR! And the cool thing is that the wine in the airplane bar can be used in a pinch for Communion....
    5. The seats have really nice night lights, so you can do devotions at night.
    6. The prisoners he visits will be hella impressed.
    7. Ample cargo space can be filled with food for the homeless folks who might live near the airport. And the money they saved on the religious tax exemption can be used to start a soup kitchen to feed the poor.
    8. Able to have fun buzzing the tower with his associate pastor, Goose (Negative, Holy Ghost Rider, the pattern is full).
    9. His $5000 suits won't come out of all wrinkly, like they do when you have to check your luggage like the commoners.
    10. Can finally prove, once and for all, that God blesses the faithful with great riches.
He works in mysterious ways, you guys... If you have more good ideas for things that belong on this list, please post them in the comments.

Having had my unfortunate situation of last spring resolved, and through devout prayer, I want it to be known, I'll match every dollar donated. I want to see Landover raise $40M and I'll match it. My little investment in the foolhardy 'Ebola Treatment' has paid off and if a darkie can have a $65M plane, our beloved Pastor should have a $80M one!
In anticpation of this, I put a call in to my old fraternity brother, Nicholas Chabrajaand had us moved to the top of the list. Do not embarrass me Landover, I extended myself and stand erect in my adoration of Gods Will. Let's have Him at it.

Could one of our people have a word with the FBI or whoever it is that deals with these matters and get my husband's STA (Supplementary Tithing Account) unfrozen? They are making a lot of fuss about nothing, there was no question of the money having been in the laundry and it has never been used for any purpose other than what it says on the account. As for where he got it from, half was from Liechtenstein and the other half from Belize.

Once this is sorted out, Matthew will be more than happy to cough up his share.

Eloquently stated as always, Pastor Zeke.

This is a serious setback for Landover Baptist. We need to crank up our giving and get Pastor Zeke his Airbus NOW. I heard that Creflo Dollar is following this fund raising effort of ours and decided to ridicule us by announcing his Gulfstream.

There is a little beacon of hope. When you read the story, you can see Creflo has not actually raised the $70 mill he needs for his plane. I think he is bluffing. We can still raise our millions, order the Airbus and Creflo's supporters will throw in the towel. Let's get going folks.

    Dear Pastor,

This is bad news. I am going to quadruple my efforts at the local charity, where I eatpreach with my family 4-5 times a week. While the people there are not very wealthy, they are beginning to show interest in their fate in Eternity and I think there are several dollars to be gained there.

    Deuteronomy 14:22
Thou shalt truly tithe all the increase of thy seed, that the field bringeth forth year by year.

For our Brethren and Sisters I suggest something like this:

    Yours in Christ,

Creflo Dollar’s board says he’ll get the $65 million jet he wants because God told them so

The board of World Changers Church International, or Creflo Dollar Ministries, founded by popular televangelist Creflo Dollar, said in a statement that the organization will acquire the luxury multimillion-dollar Gulfstream G650 jet Dollar has been asking for, the Christian Post reports.

According to the WCCI board, the luxury private jet is a necessity for its global reach.

“It is our belief that this ministry is called to serve people globally — to literally change the world according to the Great Commission — and our infrastructure and operational plan reflect the worldwide nature of that assignment,” the WCCI board said in the statement. “Our pastors share the gospel of Jesus more than 300 times per year — in churches, arenas, venues, convention centers, stadiums and other facilities across the entire planet — and are committed to aggressive travel schedules that cannot be fulfilled via any means other than private aircraft.”

“A long-range, high-speed, intercontinental jet aircraft is a tool that is necessary in order to fulfill the mission of the ministry,” the statement continued. “In light of an unfortunate accident that recently resulted in the ministry’s aircraft being declared a total loss, it is our intention to purchase another airplane at a time, place and price of our choosing,”

The board defended its choice of the luxury multimillion-dollar G650, saying “it is the best, and it is a reflection of the level of excellence at which this organization chooses to operate.”

“We, the World Changers family, so value the lives, the safety and the well-being of our pastors and leaders that we wish to provide to them the best air travel experience possible,” the WCCI board proclaimed.

In March, Dollar attempted to raise $65 million to purchase this jet through a crowdfunding campaign. The campaign, which asked the 200,000 of the Ministries’ international supporters to donate $300 each, was shut down after it had stirred up public controversy.

In lieu of the controversy, the WCCI board made it clear earlier in the statement that the decision wasn’t Dollar’s alone, but “an action of this board.”

According to the WCCI board, purchasing the luxury private jet is following “the Word of God.”

“We understand that others may interpret biblical truths differently — the freedom to worship as one chooses is a fundamental hallmark of a free society — but wish to assert our God-given right to practice what we believe,” said the statement. “This is our faith, the very basis for what we believe, and it is not necessary that we justify it.”

There is only one little problem. Since 2013, Gulfstream has only delivered about 50 of G650s annually and here is a backlog on orders for the popular luxury aircraft through the beginning of 2018, according to Gulfstream’s sales director for New Jersey, Delaware and New York, Kevin Valik.
If God can tell that coon Creflo's Board to buy him a plane, then WHY CAN'T MINE!!??

Yes. It seems that this was not realized? Perhaps the good people of this church are donating more to charity and less to luxury, eh? I hope I am not offending anyone. In fact I am thinking that it is magnificent to do charity instead of environmentally unsustainable private aircraft. Yes. Again I am seeing the fundamental unity of everyone and all sincere faiths. It is beautiful, yes.

Naomipie and any other skeptics of our aircraft purchase for Pastor Zeke must face the facts. Pastor Zeke is the hero all preachers. Creflo Dollar is the goat.

As evidence, I'm showing this article by one of deepest intellectuals in the faith, outside of Landover Baptist. He points to the evils of Creflo Dollar's money. He has no criticism of our beloved Pastor Zeke's money.

I would guess, although it is no business of mine, that Pastor Zeke's net worth would make Creflo Dollar look like a guy on welfare . But, no one criticizes Pastor Zeke's money because he earned it fair and square. He preaches the true gospel.

Creflo Dollar Loves What's In His Pocket
by Dan Delzell , Special to CP

    May 2, 2015|10:10 am

A notorious prosperity preacher from Atlanta has recently come under even more intense criticism. Creflo Dollar asked 200,000 people to donate $300 each in order to raise $65 million to purchase a private jet for his work. Creflo is widely reported to be worth an estimated $27 million.

In spite of the opulence he chooses to lavish on himself, this multimillionaire makes no apology for piling up a personal fortune. Creflo's appetite for luxury and excessive indulgence seems insatiable.
Prosperity preachers could learn a lot from the example of Pastor Rick Warren. Rick is a "reverse tither" who gives away 90% of his income. Few Christians have such strong faith when it comes to their finances, and Creflo Dollar would have to learn how to crawl before he could walk with the likes of Rick Warren.
But Creflo could make great strides if he were to reduce his net worth to say, $2 million dollars, while giving away most of his fortune to the needy. Such generosity would indicate something noble within his heart. Of course it would be even better to reduce his net worth to $200,000. But that would be quite a stretch for a man who has so often boasted of his wealth and material possessions.
Jesus said, "You cannot serve both God and Money." (Matthew 6:24) The Lord regularly warned people about the love of money.
Creflo Dollar said, "The money in my pocket is not mine, it's God's." But his financial decisions clearly refute that claim. If the money in his pocket truly belonged to God, then Creflo would no longer hoard it. And he wouldn't continue spending millions of dollars on his materialistic fantasies.

MOTHER! Stop this nonsense! If Brother Billy has upset you, discuss it with him and pray about it! When I needed a grove of trees removed from my expansive Apostles Park Court back yard, Billy Bob single handedly took those trees down in one afternoon and was still ready for my pie later. He has such love for God and such stamina! Bless the Lord.

You are NOT moving - so get that out of your head. Pastors and True Christian(TM) friends, please extend the courtesy of mercy and love to my parents. They have, indeed, been financially helpful to the church and that 100K will come in handy come time for the Aruba trip, Zeke - think before you act. "Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy."

MOTHER - I am going to be over there in a moment. I better not find you packing. FATHER! Keep her off the Internet for a while.

My apologies to all for this unfortunate incident.

I will certainly acknowledge the seriousness of this money going toward a massive luxury plane for Pastor Ezekiel rather than paying his servants, upgrading his limousines, fueling his revolving designer wardrobe, or extending one of his larger mansions into a palace... But knowledge of Pastor Ezekiel's unsurpassed integrity, and the fact that his accountants are New York joos, ought to settle our nerves.
