On behalf of the Landover Baptist Church revenue committee, I would like to welcome members of the Dearborn Baptist Church to Landover Baptist and offer my condolences on the firebombing of your church and the disappearance of your pastor on Monday. I think you will be happy here at Landover Baptist, and our congregation has been instructed to welcome you all with open arms and generous hearts.
Do not worry about signing up for tithing, because we have been fortunate enough to receive a complete list of your names, addresses, social security numbers, employer identification information, and 2007 Adjusted Gross Income. You should be receiving your supply of postage paid envelopes and direct deposit forms in the next few days.
Finally, let me say that all of us at Landover Baptist have prayed that the charred and dismembered corpse of your former pastor will be discovered soon by hikers in the ravine leading to the Freehold River. And again, welcome to the Landover Baptist Community!!
