It already HAS stopped a bullet.
At some point someone's MIND made up the idea of a bullet, a gun, etc. Someone else's mind made up the idea of a bullet-proof vest, riot gear, etc.
In essence, the mind already has done exactly that. Stopped the bullet.

And "praying" only helps because you THINK it will, not because some god hears it and answers it. The THOUGHT is what counts.
If I believe this great medicine the doctor is giving me will heal me completely, then chances are, even if it is a sugar pill (read: placebo), it will do what I THINK it will.

You show me a bullet proof vest , whatever make or material , and there is a round that will punch A CHUNK OF IT INTO YOUR CHEST CAVITY, and out the back along with your lungs. If you don't believe that google any of the following. They will take out armoured vehicles. Accuracy International AS50, Accuracy International AW-50 , DSR-Precision DSR 50 , Steyr .50 HS ,PGM Ultima Ratio 'Hecate II' , Mechem NTW-20 , AMSD OM 50 Nemesis , Barrett M series/light50 , M-93 Black Arrow / Crna Strela .50
You want to stand in front of one of these in your bullet proof vest ?

You show me a bullet proof vest and I will show you a five inch group shot at anything upto 1000 metres, and that was on an average day.
Lets see , average human head is about ten inches of mass...

And just incase you think of popping a 'bulletproof baseball cap' on your noggin , the velocity/impact would snap your neck , and powder your skull , as it turned your brain gel , even if you were wearing a full kevlar pot.

Show me an instance where someone stopped a flying bullet ONLY using his mind . . . Oh, wait. You can't.

Could you back that up with a "scientific" study showing that placebos can actually cure real diseases (cancer, the AIDS, etc.), instead of just relieving non-diseases like tension headaches (caused by stress anyway)?
