Republicans have both Congress and the White House for 6 of the past 8 years, and the White House for the last 8 years.

Lets all talk about how well off we are today, versus how we were 8 years ago, under the yoke of the Clintons.

For a start, my car-flag business was floundering under the Clintons. But thanks to 9/11, and and the discovery of a perfect factory in China to move production to, I am now far better off than I was 8 years ago.

8 years ago my oil and defence stocks were stagnating. I almost decided to sell them!

I have a son who owns a repossesion business. The Clinton years were hard times for a repo-man. Now, thanks to the economic genius of the Republican party, he never runs out of work, day or night!

Times are booming, if you're flexiable enough to get into the right industry. There's no "economic crisis", just an economic transition.

Just look at all the business these guys are getting:

According to this JYT article, business at thrift stores is so good that they may run out of stock by Christmas.

One of my neighbors is a bankruptcy attorney, and he says that his practice is booming.

According to the ABA, incomes for professionals are rising, while feminazism is being kept in check. Praise!

The highest earners in 2007 were men in legal occupations, who earned a median salary in 2007 of $105,233, according to a Census Bureau report.

The online report (PDF) issued in August shows women in legal occupations, which includes paralegal as well as lawyer positions, didn’t fare as well. Their median salary was $53,790.

8 years ago I was unsaved trash destined for the eternal fires of Hell. If not for the financial rut my mother was in that forced her to take a job here in Freehold I would never have been saved. I'd probably be some drug dealer living in sin with some nappy headed ho, a babies' daddy to maybe 10 niglets and be sitting in jail on the "down low" with my cell mate Malek Shabazz Muhammed. Praise, Jesus, I'm not a homosexual islamofacist.

So I am VERY thankful for what George W. Bush as accomplished. Indeed, God DOES work in mysterious way. I sometimes gives me the shakes to think that this country is on the verge of putting another democrat liberal in the House. Think of all the would-be Saved souls who will be lost if Hussein is elected?

I am much better off. I get paid in local currency. Eight years ago, I only got about $.80 for each euro I had. Now, I get more than $1.40 and for a while $1.60! The dollar is worth less than half what it was when Bush took office and so I am making twice as much money!!

One of my cousins owns a string of check-cashing and payday-loan stores. Since the riffraff are no longer able to get the easy credit that they never deserved in the first place, his business is skyrocketing.

I am much better in all respects than I was eight years ago. During my fifties, Landover sent me to a hole-in-the-wall called Hawaii and made me minister to thousands of native girls; mostly converts from the Church of Satin (Catlickers) or the few remaining congregationalists. Thank GOD there are no JOOS here, merely chinks and other soullless darkies.

But now I am mostly retired and eight years nearer to Thee, My Lord! I can't wait. Imagine.... an eternity of milk and honey! No mudslums, no Hindoos, none of that other rifraff. No yappity-yap-yap-yapping all day long from my chink housekeeper, no McDonalds, no OJ Simpson.

I can't wait to sit in my recliner and toss empty bottles at the Demoncrats, heretics and goths I can see writhing in agony in Hell. Especially that Tina Fey gal who is making a mockery and a laughingstock out of Godly Sarah Palin and her running mate, wazzisname.

In nearby un christian towns with lots of forclosures were' often called in to keep the lawns cut so thats' more business for us and i can make a little money on the side carting stuff out of the houses that lets me tithe more to teh church so yes im' better off thank you Jesus.

I can't complain. As I recall 8 years ago I had to make do with a 2000 Escalade. Now I have a 2008 Escalade. Much nicer.

I don't know what all these people are complaining about recently. "Bailout" this and "economic holocaust" that. I'm doing better than ever. At the start of the Bush administration I purchased stock in a company that makes barrels with suspenders on them and have been making a killing over the last couple of months!



In addition I bet these NASCAR collectible plates I bought off the home shopping network will be paying dividends at any time-- the commercial said they can only increase in value.

I can think of NO measure by which I'm not far better off now than 8 years ago!

In 2000, I was a student at Liberty University, living on pot noodles and fried-egg sandwiches. I drove a YUGO -- when I could afford gas. Usually, I rode around on my Schwinn, which had baskets mounted so I could use it for "grocery shopping" at the local McDonald's dumpster.

I had a full scholarship, but that only covered tuition, books, and a shared room on campus; no food, just a $50/month stipend.

So I supplemented my meager income by collecting recyclable bottles and cans. Those nickels sure add up, let me tell ya! And sometimes I'd pick up a (very) odd job helping out a trucker. Those sometimes paid $20!

Today? Well, I'm certainly not rich according to John McCain (income of $5 million)! My church provides a substantial annual salary, a car, and a perfectly lovely 3,580-square-foot 5-bedroom home with an acre of landscaped grounds which include a number of fruit trees and a vegetable garden (maintained for me by church volunteers who are good at such things). Since I'm a single man, ladies from the congregation are always stopping by with casseroles, baked goods, and other treats.

Better off? Certainly!

How could any of us NOT be better off? We have a couple hundred thousand dead mooselimbs in the Middle East. Christianity is flourishing and millions of souls are being saved in the Middle East by the grace of Jesus Christ.
My taxes have gone down substantally in the past 8 years. Gifts via the heart are charity, gifts via the IRS are extortion. Gas maybe be a few cents more expensive, but atleast there are more dead Muslims. It's a small price to pay.
Thousands more homos and negros are AIDS infected due to abstinence only teaching. God works in mysterious ways, doesn't he?
The global warming nonsense has been throughly rebuked by scientists, even if the communist media doesn't realise it.
