A well trained dog focuses on its owner, not other dogs. If our dogs are not under somebodies direct control, they are locked in their kennels. Concrete walls between the runs keep them from performing any funny business.

People are becoming as permissive with their dogs as they are with their kids. OH DON'T TRAIN THEM, THAT'S CRUEL! LET KIDS BE KIDS AND DOGS BE DOGS. And what do we get, in both cases a bunch of wild animals in packs destroying our communities.

Yes, well, I have a german shepherd. She is IMPECCABLY trained. She is a search and rescue dog and an aide for the blind. But, when we let her out with the other dogs to play, guess what she does and all of the other dogs do in greeting? That's right, they sniff butts.

Yeah that's going to need putting down. I suggest with a big dog like that you probably need to use strangulation. You could do it with a rope and hang her off a sturdy balcony for a while. The fall will kill her quickly if you have more height and a tight rope.

If you can't achieve this then I suggest an accurate and firm swing of a bat to the head to knock the harlot out, so you can pound it's unconscious corpse into doggy hell without fear of any fight-back.

WELL TRAINED? I think not. You know you have to do with such an abomination. I can provide a splatter guard and plastic apron to avoid a mess. There is very little blood from the last perverted animal I had to put down. A couple of knocks with a sledge hammer did the trick nicely.

Do you really think any serious dog trainer is going to believe this? I know Seeing eye dogs, I know SAR dogs, and I know Shepherds. I've never met one that is all three. If you have one, I'm sure you can post links to this wonder dog? I'm sure there's articles all over the working dog boards about the blind SAR worker.

I won't hold my breath though.

We bred her a couple of months ago and we are planning on selling the puppies and giving a few to the police. THEY will be happy at least with her.

If you don't control your dog, your dog will control you! Since this one seems to be a failure I would suggest to shoot this one, get a new one and train that one properly. We are supposed to control the animals, not the other way around, as God demands from us: Genesis 1:27-28 "So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth"

Wow so now she leads the blind guy around searching for lost people while taking care of her puppies. This dog just keeps getting better and better.
I'm still waiting for the article.

And any dog that goes around sniffing other dogs buts is certainly not 'trained' around my clubs you'd get a stern talking to and your dog would probably get a boot to the face. We do not let our dogs play with each other. You just don't do that with working dogs.

To the non-liars on this board, could you imagine a seeing eye dog sniffing the butt of every dog it walked by? Could you imagine search and rescue dogs that wanted to play with each other rather than work? Yeah, not very good dogs are they.

Although I agree that she should shoot her dog, I don't think she should get a new one, unless it's some useless pocket dog that can't do any damage. A large uncontrolled dog is a danger to society.

My mother is a dog trainer from Germany. She was taught at home and can do both because she has a perfect mannerism. My Oma (German for grandmother, for those who are close minded freaks) is blind and uses Czarina (my dog) whenever she goes out.

My mom also trained Czarina for Search and Rescue and volunteers to go with her whenever somebody goes missing in the area or whatever else they contact her for.

And there are tons of German Shepherds that can do both. (And what do you have against German Shepherds? They are one of the best and most intelligent breeds out there) Heck, I'm sure other breeds can do both as well, but I'm not sure. I would have to ask my mom on that one.

I didn't say anything about GSDs I said that you're lying. No there are not a bunch of seeing eye SAR dogs running around out there. The two jobs require two completely different temperaments, that's why people who breed for guide dogs don't breed with dogs bred for SAR.

I'm still waiting for the article regarding this amazing dog. I'm a member of most working dog boards, and if it's in German, I can have a friend trainer translate it for me.

Everyone brags about how well their dog is trained until you ask them to prove it.

Yeah, my Oma is dead now. Thank you. She passed away last year. Excuse me for not making that clear... I mistyped, it happens.

Anyways, our dog is trained to know the difference between play time and work time. She knows better not to, she has been trained very well by my mother.

And yes, most trainers don't allow their dogs to play with other dogs so they don't get distracted... And personally, I believe that method is best myself. My mother just... trains weird, and Czarina is the only dog I have actually met that knows the difference between play time and work time. Our other dogs... Probably shouldn't have had play time.
