Hearing this verse at the time in my life when I was a sinner is what got me to believe. The pastor preached a sermon for me or that it felt like the sermon was for me. I knew of God, but didn't have any faith in Him. I had gone through a rough time in my life and questioned his existence. All I could think about all week was that verse. The next week I was back in church with new bible and that was the first verse I highlighted . A month later, I gave my heart to the lord.

Are you kidding? God is the one who is going to be judging. It is not mans job to judge. It is our job to lead people to Christ to help continue our religion. If you didn't bring new people into your church, it would not grow. Your views are very closed minded and you are saying that we shouldn't try and bring new people to Jesus? I am against homosexuality, but I brought a gay friend to church. He is now saved by the blood of Christ and no longer a Homosexual. Try leading new people to Christ

          Or, as the one true Word of God says;

Matthew 17:20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

Don't try quoting from false Christian Bibles, boy. We use the Holy KJV1611 Bible, the only version dictated directly by God himself.

          One of my personal favorites is this one, from the book I was named after;

Woe to the bloody city, to the pot whose scum is therein, and whose scum is not gone out of it!--Ezekiel 24:6

I like to imagine what Jesus is going to do with all that unsaved scum when He returns any day now. Glory!!

That was my screw up. I use the King James version bible, but had to use different bible as is I could not find mine. I am actually going through this bible to see how much/what was removed. Its really sad that verses and words are removed from the bible to make more people read it.

Son, there are many false Christians in this world, and it is good that you are starting to recognize that.

"For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist." -- 2 John 7

"Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you." --Deuteronomy 4:2

Altering the Holy Bible is a dangerous thing. Best burn all the copies of false Bibles in your house and stick with the KJV1611 Holy Word of God.

You know something, there's hope for you. keep up the good work and read that KJV1611 from cover to cover.
                    Matthew:
5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled
10:21 And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death.
10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.

The answer to your question should be obvious. We use the money to spread the good news about Jesus Christ and how He (temporarily) died for our sins. Fuel for our fleet of Lear Jets doesn't come cheap you know.

OPC, if you query "KJV vs NIV" you can find many comparisons between the KJV1611 and the New Infidel Version.

                        This is my favorite: http://temcat.com/NIV-KJV.htm

A brief quote from this astute article:

Here is Luke 4:4 in the King James Version. In the NIV the underlined words are cut out:
Luke 4:4 "And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God."
Luke 4:4 is not the only place where parts of the Word of God have been cut out. There are literally hundreds of omissions in the NIV.

This omission in Luke 4:4 makes the statement of Jesus of little sense. "But by every word of God." Now we have it. The Scriptures are to stay. The Word of God is to feed us. We are to live by the Scriptures. Here Jesus is in conflict with the devil and in this statement our Lord is revealing the efficient weapon against sin and Satan.

Is it not significant that this very mutilated version of Scripture cuts out the very passage that condemns it. This omitted passage condemns the NIV!

Note again that our Divine Guide is showing that man is to live by "every word of God." If "every word" is vital and we need "every word" what can be said in favour of a professed version that omits a whole verse? Not only that but omits scores of passages. I will never use in my work a mutilated version, no matter how popular it may be. The "Scripture of Truth" closes with these important words:-
Rev 22:19 "And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book."

I hope this helps you understand why we only use the KJV1611.

Is the Democratic Party of the U.S.A. really from the demon?
I mean.....Jimmy Carter was a Baptist and also Bill Clinton.

There are many sources of badness in the world! Demoncrats are just one.

Have you not read your Bible? God slaughters His enemies left and right, and encourages His chosen people to kill every man and child in a city they enter, then take the women as slaves. Here are but a handful of examples:

                            Exodus 15:3

The LORD is a man of war: the LORD is his name.

                            Numbers 31:6-7

And Moses sent them to the war, a thousand of every tribe, them and Phinehas the son of Eleazar the priest, to the war, with the holy instruments, and the trumpets to blow in his hand.

And they warred against the Midianites, as the LORD commanded Moses; and they slew all the males.

                            Revelation 19:11

And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.

                            Revelation 19:21

And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.

Where would you gather that George W. Bush being a "warlord" is not a Godly thing? Why would you think being against our Godly President Bush -- twice appointed by the Hand of God -- is a GOOD thing?!

You are a very confused young man. Do you not have a Bible in your home?

One question please (forgive me about my bad english).
Is the Democratic Party of the U.S.A. really from the demon?
                              It is indeed.

They were both fake wannabe Baptists. Jimmy Carter was a confused peanut farmer who spent his time in office toadying to every Communist and raghead he could find, and Bill Clinton was just evil personified. Your comment about him not being a warlord seemed a bit misguided though. Perhaps you should read this. At least Bush never bombed an aspirin factory in a futile attempt to distract America's population from his habit of sticking his John Thomas into every Jewess he could find. (Obviously, I'm not suggesting that Bush has such a habit, I was speaking rhetorically.)
And what's so wrong about being a warlord anyway?
Exodus 15:3 The LORD is a man of war: the LORD is his name.
If being a man of war is good enough for God, what's wrong with Bush being one?

badness. But how about the Islam or the Pope in Rome?
If you are for God, why are you so against His Chosen Servant? The Demoncrats aren't the root of all badness, Satan is (well, ultimately God is, but that's a whole different theological discussion.) The Demoncrats, the Pope and the Muslims are all among his servants. It's nice to see someone who isn't taken in by the Pope's claims to be a Christian, anyway.
O Lord our God, help us to tear their soldiers to bloody shreds with our shells; help us to cover their smiling fields with the pale forms of their patriot dead; help us to drown the thunder of the guns with the shrieks of their wounded, writhing in pain; help us to lay waste their humble homes with a hurricane of fire; help us to wring the hearts of their unoffending widows with unavailing grief; help us to turn them out roofless with little children to wander unfriended the wastes of their desolated land in rags and hunger and thirst, sports of the sun flames of summer and the icy winds of winter, broken in spirit, worn with travail, imploring Thee for the refuge of the grave and denied it--for our sakes who adore Thee, Lord, blast their hopes, blight their lives, protract their bitter pilgrimage, make heavy their steps, water their way with their tears, stain the white snow with the blood of their wounded feet! We ask it, in the spirit of love, of Him Who is the Source of Love, and Who is the ever-faithful refuge and friend of all that are sore beset and seek His aid with humble and contrite hearts. Amen.

God being truth, justice, goodness, beauty, power, and life, man is falsehood, iniquity, evil, ugliness, impotence, and death. God being master, man is the slave. Incapable of finding justice, truth, and eternal life by his own effort, he can attain them only through a divine revelation... he who desires to worship God must harbor no childish illusions about the matter, but bravely renounce his liberty and humanity.

Demoncrats are evil because they are anti-war friend. Christ wants a warrrior-President to lead us American Christians in a Holy war against the wicked unbelivers, like the Pope and Islam, and destroy them in His Holy name! PRAISE!

As you see now that the demoncrats have taken over Congress they are attempting to undermine Bush's godly work in Iraq were many unbelivers have already been sent to judgment.

As long as there are non-belivers in this world peace is evil.
