    Re: A few questions...

Allow me to aproach the question("do I hate my parents?") from a different perspective. Is it a sin to love your parents?

      Re: A few questions...

Of course not! But they have to be True Christians™ if you are a True Christian™. My mother was a hippy slut who died of the hepatitis C. She wasn't even sure who my father was, so it was easy for me to hate my parents when I was Saved this last time.

It may be harder for you to hate your parents once you become a True Christian™, since you know who both of them are and I assume they are not filthy hippies.

But I wouldn't worry about that right now. You should worry about becoming a True Christian™ first, and worry about hating your parents after you've been Saved and been accepted in God's Favorite Church©!

Thank you for your response. To answer the question posed by pastor Eziekel(sorry I think I spelled it wrong again), I love my parents, they are both christians and are the people who told me about Jesus. I do, however, disagree with you about hating non-christian parents and here is why: Jesus said to "Go ye into all the world" and "preach the gospel to every creature". "Preaching the gospel"is very likely the best way of expressing love because it shows concern for their eternal destination.(continued)

Parents are definetly included in "all the world" and "every creature". Thus, we are commanded by Jesus Christ to show love to everyone, including unbelieving parents.

It doesn't say anywhere in the KJV1611 that you must love all of those to whom you preach the word of God. You can hate someone before they accept Jesus and love them after they come to the Lord. It's pretty simple actually.

You disagree that witnessing is showing love? I find it obvious that showing people The One who can redeem them from satan and rescue them from eternity in hell is an act of love.

                  Re: A few questions...

You've obviously not witnessed as long as we have son. Witnessing is a duty. The vile sinners I've had the misfortune to preach to have sometimes made me physically ill. The junkies, whores, junkie whores, losers, boozers, users, T.V. thieves, muggers, buggerers, misfits, dimwits, halfwits, etc. have been quite a challenge to my Faith, I can tell you that.

The stench alone of some sinners has filled my heart with hate on occasion. I can assure you that just because I was filled with the healing love of Jesus doesn't mean I was filled with love for the Hellbound scum to whom I was trying to spread His word.

No, we are NOT. You seem to grab onto one verse and think the entire Bible follows that same line, but it is because you are not a Biblical Scholar or a theologian or a pastor, and don't know. I am getting tired of your pedantic comments. We are ordered to kill those who don't accept Christ; to judge them, and to prepare for JESUS' return WHICH WILL BE FOR THE PURPOSE OF STARTING ARMAGEDDON AND KILLING ALL WHO DO NOT FOLLOW HIM!
