I was wondering if it would be okay if I were to ask a few questions about your church. There are some things about it which confuse me.

Chris Rock? What kind of a name is that?
May I ask a few questions of you while we're at it?Matthew:
5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled
10:21 And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death.
10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.

Re: A few questions...
First, read THIS thread. Note the part about this not being a debate forum.Originally posted by chrisrock View PostI was wondering if it would be okay if I were to ask a few questions about your church. There are some things about it which confuse me.
Second, use the "search" function and see if it's already been answered. We get tired of being asked the same questions over and over again, especially by God-mockers.
Third, keep a respectful tongue in your head or you could lose your posting privileges.

Here is a partial list from just a few scripture verses:

Re: A few questions...
"Chris Rock" is what another member of this forum changed my username to. Please ask me any questions you wish however, questions that are very personal I will not answer. For example(not that anyone here would do this) if someone asked my for social security number I would not answer.Originally posted by eliot mayfield View PostChris Rock? What kind of a name is that?

Re: A few questions...
First question: I am confused on your position racism. I`ve seen many posts which lead me to believe you hate blacks/African Americans and other posts which say you are against racism. Could you please help me understand this apparant parodox?

Re: A few questions...
Social security numbers can be used to steal identities and run up huge debts on Platinum credit cards, or transfer millions of dollars out of bank accounts. Somehow I don't think stealing your identity would be a good idea for more reasons than I care to name.Originally posted by chrisrock View Post"Chris Rock" is what another member of this forum changed my username to. This can be a touchy subject for some, and I feel it would be best to have one of our Pastors explain the stand of Landover(tm), and the Bible, fully.Originally posted by chrisrock View PostFirst question: I am confused on your position racism. I wasn't worried or concered that anyone here is giving out important information, nor was I trying to imply it was happening, I was simply using it as an example. Another example would be that I won't give out my adress or phone number.Originally posted by Mistress Cookie View PostDon't worry, Brother Rock.

Genesis 9:18-27
And the sons of Noah, that went forth of the ark, were Shem, and Ham, and Japheth: and Ham is the father of Canaan.
These are the three sons of Noah: and of them was the whole earth overspread.
And Noah began to be an husbandman, and he planted a vineyard:
And he drank of the wine, and was drunken; and he was uncovered within his tent.
And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father, and told his two brethren without.
And Shem and Japheth took a garment, and laid it upon both their shoulders, and went backward, and covered the nakedness of their father; and their faces were backward, and they saw not their father's nakedness.
And Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his younger son had done unto him.
And he said, Cursed be Canaan; the lowest of slaves shall he be unto his brethren.
And he said, Blessed be the LORD God of Shem; and Canaan shall be his slave.
God shall enlarge Japheth, and he shall dwell in the tents of Shem; and Canaan shall be his slave.

Re: A few questions...
I've read the Bible cover to cover to cover many times. I was not attempting to imply that God's Word is racist. Rather I know it is not. As the Bible says "There is neither Jew nor Greek" (Galations 3:28) meaning that Jesus cares about our heart, not our nationality.Originally posted by Pastor Ezekiel View PostWe follow the Holy Bible word for word.
