Please understand that we do not have any misconceptions. In fact, since we rely wholly and unalterably on the AV1611 King James Bible™, which has been preserved without error by God Himself, one could hardly claim we even make errors of doctrine. We believe every word of it, you see. If one of us misunderstands a passage, we have pastors and deacons (dozens of them) to help set us right.

If you think we are incorrect in a point of doctrine, even though this is not a debate site, I'd be glad to point out your error.

First, I would like to state my amusement at how you addressed me.

Second, you accuse me of spouting gibberish, yet I severely doubt you read my original post which was NOT an attack on your religion, I have never said you were wrong in your interpretation of the Bible simply because, I admit, you all probably know the Bible better than me.

My beliefs are set as there are. If a scientific breakthrough comes through that can explain the big bang my beliefs will stay the same.

Despite future evidence to the contrary, you will remain set in your beliefs? But here you are, picking fights with us because of our unwavering beliefs. I guess you are unwilling to provide the same consideration that you provide yourself - a typical atheistic mannerism.

You all claim that had John Kerry won the Presidential Election in 2004 he would have banned the bible. Does anyone here not realize that Catholicism IS Christianity? Christianity is the belief that Jesus Christ died for our sins. Something that Catholics also believe. I myself am Baptist and not Catholic and am saying this because it is simply the truth.

But it is a lie. Catholicism is not Christianity.

Catholics worship Mary, and scores of "saints" who are just renamings of pre-existing pagan demons. They also pray to crackers, and imagine themselves to be cannibals. They think their priests have the power to force Jesus to come from Heaven and enter a "death cookie", so they can eat Him!

My beliefs do not represent those of all Catholics. My beliefs represent my own personal beliefs, no one elses. And I would like to point out that I already have pointed to a specific event and said God did it, the big bang. You may not agree with me and I certainly don't agree with you, but I did not come here to dispute your beliefs, I came here to point out some misconceptions I saw in your posts and to correct them. I have not once attacked your beliefs, I have only said that I respectfully disagree. You all are the ones who are attacking someone who first, did not attack you, and second, asked for a PEACEFUL debate.

Any form of sex is the act itself therefore it is forbidden. As far as people I know doing it, no. I'm sure people I know engage in anal sex, but they do not do it to keep their virginity, they have lost their virginity before.

So what parts of The Bible do you pick and choose to follow? Is this some type of Christian cafeteria plan where one simply ignores the difficult parts of The Bible? At some point in the future when science is able to offer an explanation for the "big bang" will you reduce God's reign over creation even more? As science makes more and more headway into "understanding" the creation of the universe and abiogenesis, at what point will you simply disregard God altogether? You don't call yourself an atheist but you have started on that path by worshiping a "god of the gaps." Why should we even pay heed to posts made by an atheist on a Christian forum?
