When I say I believe in the basics of Catholicism I mean I believe in the Holy Trinity and some of what is said in the Bible.
So what parts of The Bible do you pick and choose to follow? Is this some type of Christian cafeteria plan where one simply ignores the difficult parts of The Bible?
I am not a creationist, I believe in evolution, but I do believe God indirectly created the Earth. I believe in science up until the big bang, because there is no explanation for how and why the big bang occurred. I believe that God was actually the one who made the big bang occur. The laws of science state that matter and energy can neither be created nor destroyed so in order for the big bang to occur someone/thing had to create both energy and matter. The only explanation that makes sense to me is the higher power of God who is not governed by the laws of science.
At some point in the future when science is able to offer an explanation for the "big bang" will you reduce God's reign over creation even more? As science makes more and more headway into "understanding" the creation of the universe and abiogenesis, at what point will you simply disregard God altogether? You don't call yourself an atheist but you have started on that path by worshiping a "god of the gaps." Why should we even pay heed to posts made by an atheist on a Christian forum? I think you are here just to mock us.

    Maybe, we shall see.

P.S. If you are still trying to call me a homosexual you are so far in the wrong it is astounding. I have not attacked you once, yet you continue to attack me.

You know, I've wondered something about you and your userid, Mr. Bear. Your userid is not a descriptor that many use. Please forgive me if I offend, but I have to ask. Do you feel a "bond" with the muscle bear cult of the homosexual community? perhaps latently? That would explain your deep denial about the prevalence and terrible consequences of Catholic pedophilia.

But I will ask you to think for yourself the next time a "big" story comes on the news to think, "Why did the choose this story?" Think about this, you can attest to hearing many times on the national news about a kidnapped child or a "pandemic" of a disease/illness, can you not? I want you to think of the other countless examples of the same story, but do not receive the national attention like that story. Here's an example for you, remember Swine Flu? Remember how it was actually named a "pandemic" by the WHO? Remember how the media was freaking out about the whole thing over just a few deaths from the illness? Here's a fact for you, every YEAR somewhere around 3,600 Americans die of the flu. Do you hear about this in the same scale as swine flu? No. Why not? There is a large media bias.

You are right, I can only make a judgment of Pastor Ezekiel based on his own words and his own words say that he is a racist by using derogatory names for the black men he gets on his hands and knees with.

You seem to forget that each and every branch of the religion of Christianity has a different interpretation of the Bible and does not believe in the same exact things as another. To you any one from any branch of Christianity that is not Landover Baptist has turned their back to Christ.
