What are you reading at the moment?

Anyone reading any interesting literature at the moment? (not including the Bible)

Currently reading 'Brave New World' by Aldous Huxley and 'Turn of the Screw' by Henry James.

    Both are very interesting.

I am currently on my 350th reading of the Holy KJV1611 Bible. The best-selling book of all times, and with good reason.

Rick Santorum - It Takes A Family

Beautiful book, with Sen. Santorum's love for Jesus and America radiating from every page. The scene in which he brought home his wife's miscarried fetus and made his children play with it was particularly touching—truly, the Culture of Life has no more dedicated soldier than Santorum.

Scooter Liddy's book about life in heathen Japan. Did you know they trained bears to "know" (in the Biblical sense) brothel harlots so they hate men and don't run off with them. Disgusting, but that is the heathen for you.

Say, Lilith, if you are reading this; do they do the same thing in New Zeeland?

I am currently reading 90 Minutes in Heaven: A True Story of Death & Life. On the way home from a conference, Don Piper's car was crushed by a semi that crossed into his lane. Medical personnel said he died instantly. While his body lay lifeless inside the ruins of his car, Piper experienced the glories of heaven, awed by its beauty and music.

Ninety minutes after the wreck, while a minister prayed for him, Piper miraculously returned to life on earth with only the memory of inexpressible heavenly bliss. His faith in God was severely tested as he faced an uncertain and grueling recovery. Now he shares his life-changing story with you. 90 Minutes in Heaven offers a glimpse into a very real dimension of God's reality. It encourages those recovering from serious injuries and those dealing with the loss of a loved one. The experience dramatically changed Piper's life, and it will change yours too.

Surely you could pick something more interesting? If you're going to take the fast track to hell, you might as well be reading 'the good stuff'. Start off with a little Anton Levay. He was nuttier than a fruitcake, but he was more intelligent than the demoncratic congress.

Oh, you're definitely 15, just the age for which that book was written.

Interesting that it acknowledges Jehovah as Creator of the universe, yet you deny Him.

I read a great book on book burning recently. I never realized that the under-armed toss is 15% more efficient than the side-arm book toss and that the side-arm toss, over time, results in damage to your throwing arm. If you want to be burning books well into your 80's like I do, this book is a vital resource.
