    God through peace?

After viewing this forum throughout, it seems apparent many of you are pro-republican, pro-war, pro-death penalty, etc. Such stances make me question the condition of modern Christ insanity (excuse me...Christianity). Did Jesus not teach the masses to be peace makers? Do you find the bombing of Iraq to be a godly act and George Bush a holy man? Perhaps I am generalizing, but I would dispute your self-proclaimed stances as a True Christian.

    Friend,

Jesus did not teach peace for everyone, He taught peace for His followers. The rest we are to make war on.

Time to reclaim our FREEDOM from the “Mullah in Chief” and his growing activist voter hoards of socialists, communists, anti-Semites, anti-Christians, atheists, radical gays and lesbians, feminists, illegal immigrants, Muslims, anti-Anglo whites and others.

Then how do you reach those of other cultures to believe in Christ Insanity? You can't if you automatically declare them heathens.

An unbeliever is a heathen as far as a Christian is concerned. God wants them destroyed, it would be nice if they converted but clearly many won't. What do you want to do then? Wring your hands and pretend Jesus didn't task us Christians with The Great Commission. The Christ's message of love must be spread throughout the world friend.

BTW Petty cheep shots like "Christ insanity" are unacceptable.

          Have you read the Bible?

          I'm guessing not.

God is a man of War. He says so Himself.

God directed Moses to massacre the Midianites, who had turned from Him and begun worshipping false gods. At first, the Israelite army killed the men, and brought the women and children as captives. Moses was angry that they didn't massacre the Midianites as instructed, and directed them to then kill all the male children -- even babies -- and the non-virgin females -- even the pregnant ones -- and "marry" the virgin females.

Does this sound like peace to you, friend?

            Yes, we are.
And God Himself favours the death penalty, infact it's His favourite form of punishment. Here's a few examples:

Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live.
            Exodus 22:18

Whosoever lieth with a beast shall surely be put to death.
            Exodus 22:19

He that sacrificeth unto any god, save unto the LORD only, he shall be utterly destroyed.
            Exodus 22:20

For every one that curseth his father or his mother shall be surely put to death:
He hath cursed his father or his mother; his blood shall be upon him.
            Leviticus 20:9

And if a man lie with his daughter in law, both of them shall surely be put to death:
They have wrought confusion; their blood shall be upon them.
            Leviticus 20:12

If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination:
They shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
            Leviticus 20:13

Such stances make me question the condition of modern Christ insanity (excuse me...Christianity). Did Jesus not teach the masses to be peace makers?
The LORD is a man of war: the LORD is his name.
            Exodus 15:3

Think not that I am come to send peace on earth:
I came not to send peace, but a sword.
            Matthew 10:34

Blessed be the LORD my strength which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight:
            Psalm 144:1

Do you find the bombing of Iraq to be a godly act and George Bush a holy man? Perhaps I am generalizing, but I would dispute your self-proclaimed stances as a True Christian.
Of course we do, and of course you are:
The devil has decieved you into believing Christians are supposed to be liberal and weak.
If thou be wise, thou shalt be wise for thyself: But if thou scornest, thou alone shalt bear it.
A foolish woman is clamorous: She is simple, and knoweth nothing.
            Proverbs 9:12-13

No and yes. Our True Christian™ stances are not self-proclaimed, God proclaims the standards that His Servants should follow, we follow them and therefore we are True Christians™. Simple as that.

By invading their countries, killing their leaders and converting them to Christianity, duh. How has Christianity historically been spread anywhere? How was Christianity brought to America? I'll give you a clue: The European conquerors didn't arrive in the New World, explain to the savage injuns how much they respected their culture, and then give them some cookies and a John 3:16 pamphlet.
O Lord our God, help us to tear their soldiers to bloody shreds with our shells; help us to cover their smiling fields with the pale forms of their patriot dead; help us to drown the thunder of the guns with the shrieks of their wounded, writhing in pain; help us to lay waste their humble homes with a hurricane of fire; help us to wring the hearts of their unoffending widows with unavailing grief; help us to turn them out roofless with little children to wander unfriended the wastes of their desolated land in rags and hunger and thirst, sports of the sun flames of summer and the icy winds of winter, broken in spirit, worn with travail, imploring Thee for the refuge of the grave and denied it--for our sakes who adore Thee, Lord, blast their hopes, blight their lives, protract their bitter pilgrimage, make heavy their steps, water their way with their tears, stain the white snow with the blood of their wounded feet! We ask it, in the spirit of love, of Him Who is the Source of Love, and Who is the ever-faithful refuge and friend of all that are sore beset and seek His aid with humble and contrite hearts. Amen.

God being truth, justice, goodness, beauty, power, and life, man is falsehood, iniquity, evil, ugliness, impotence, and death. God being master, man is the slave. Incapable of finding justice, truth, and eternal life by his own effort, he can attain them only through a divine revelation... he who desires to worship God must harbor no childish illusions about the matter, but bravely renounce his liberty and humanity.

We have tried to impose nothing upon you.

You came to our Godly forum with insults and accusations. We explained God's position. You, friend, are trying to impose your beliefs upon us.

Were you not condemning yourself to Hellfire through your choices, I would find it most entertaining to watch you struggle via haughty declamations to pretend that you do not, in the recesses of your heart, know what we say to be true.

What do you think you believe, Notatallgodly?

First you try to push your ideas on us, and "teach" us about what you think that Jesus was "really all about":

As brother OYK said, we aren't imposing anything on you..
You accused us of not following God's teachings, and so naturally we responded as to why our views are Biblically correct.

The only one trying to push ideas here is you.
We can't force you to accept Christ, and we won't try to force you either.
Neither will Jesus force you, because in His love, He has given you a fair choice:
Either accept Him or burn forever in hell!
                    What's it gonna be?
If thou be wise, thou shalt be wise for thyself: But if thou scornest, thou alone shalt bear it.

Friend, we follow the Book, the whole Book, and nothing but the Book. We aren't trying to impose anything on you, for we are but vessels of Christ's love.

Now, I know you're probably questioning why he commands us to do such vile (seeming) things like killing people and such- but we can't pretend to understand God. That'd be like trying to say we were equal to or superior than Him. So while you may be starving for reasons He commands such things (as put forth in His Bible (KJV1611 only)), we can only point to the commands in hopes that you too will see that He has given them to us.
