Greetings everyone. I am new to this site, and have just started to look around the place. I am sure if you guys are serious or nuts here.

A little about me.
I am a Christian (non-denominational)
I am a Student of Science, as in the real deal not pseudo-science like most.
I am a Smart-Ass, and will not hesitate to slap a person in their place when they step out of line and show their ignorance.

I also like Prophecy as well, and know a fair deal that extends even beyond those pesky "paper" Priests.

I look forward to helping straighten out some of the nut cases you guys have here.

What do you mean by that? Do you actually blaspheme God be pretending to have the gift of prophecy yourself? Or do you just get your kicks by crossing the palms of filthy gypsy punks with silver and listening to their demon-crazed rantings? Either way, would you care to explain how you reconcile the Christian belief that God created the Earth with the profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called?

For those of you whom thought kindly to greet me in reply I thank you for your courteousness.

My name or alias "Astral" means space, stars, or a plane depending upon how you wish to see it. I happen to like space and would like very much to be able to travel the stars to see much of Gods creation.

In answer to the unBrotherly Temperance;
I do not claim to have the gift of prophecy, however knowing much about it does not imply that I am all knowing in the subject nor does it imply that I will be correct in all postulations. Most "paper" theologians barely understand it at my level and even less CARE! I like most of you that are alive no barely have an original thought, I follow the works and effort of many people and learn from them and their mistakes. For it is wise to learn from my own mistakes and even wiser to learn from anothers.

Someone once said that, "We stand on the shoulders of giants." If you have wisdom then you can understand what this means.

I do not perform astral projection of any kind, and I do my own thinking as God very much prefers.

And for the rest of you whom might question this. Science and God are NOT at odds with each other. A keen eye and wisdom will only strengthen knowledge and faith. Science is premised to be unbiased... and it really is. But this will not change the fact that biased people use science for personal gain or propaganda.

No matter what your life philosophy is, one thing is plain. Humans are the ones whom defile the philosophies. If you could completely obliterate Religion, suffering would not be slowed one iota. Blaming Religion for suffering is a common Intellectually corrupt bit of tripe offered up by liberal minded people.

Things may yet be interesting here.

What god are you thinking of? The biblical deity (which I do not believe in) does not prefer people who think. That deity prefers people who have blind faith, never question, and never think. If the god of the bible did exist, you'd be offending him/it with that attitude.

I'm sorry, but science and the bible are EXTREMELY at odds with one another. And the whole basis for your faith is the bible. The bible claims the Earth is about 6000 years old. It also does not acknowledge the Earth is round, nor does it acknowledge neanderthal men, nor the outside universe or the other planets in the solar system. It claims that humankind descended from two people, which would pose an enormous genetic problem what with all the incest.
Sorry, but science is extremely at odds with the bible. The only way one could think otherwise is wishful thinking. Anyone examining the facts would realize that the two do not go hand in hand. And while there IS evidence of evolution, there is none for creationism. None at all.

I'm not sure what airline you fly, but I have yet to see AssTrail Airlines in any major airport around the United States. This is highly suspicious to me, all of this talk about outer worlds above our atmosphere -- are you sure you're not a moon-worshiper (aka Muslim)?

Could you tell me precisely where in the Bible I can find even one verse that tells me to do my own thinking? Thinking is the leading cause of atheism today -- I suggest you be careful, since an open mind is a mind used for Satan.

I both agree and disagree with you. Science is biased, that is a scientific fact, and is set up to be at odds with God, at least in the secular (evolutionist) sects. As any True Christian scientist can tell you (such as myself) that we are at the forefront of all discoveries, but that secular scientists are still mandering away trying to "prove" evolution, as if we haven't disproved it countless times!

Science is used as propaganda all the time, that I will agree with you on. Just spend an hour in a public school (if you can stomach it) and you will see just how much indoctrination is being wrought upon our children. They are constantly bombarded by the brainwashing that secular scientists keep catapulting over the school walls. It sickens me.
