This same misguided person might then assume that the Bible is not the Word of God® for the simple fact that it can't get a basic concept like Salvation® straight.

They will then scour the Bible looking for more purported contradictions. This will erase their faith. They will start seeing the Bible as some fallible document written by various imperfect Bronze Age human authors as a means to give authority to their own personal beliefs.
Indeed, we can't let people believe that the Bible contradicts itself. To do so would be madness indeed.

I'll take this as your admission of defeat and move along.

You know it! Although, I'm getting tired of the Freehold Country Club. How about we take a quick jaunt to Scottsdale and play at the Camelback. I usually do well there. We can take my jet. I can have it ready by tomorrow afternoon.
Sounds good, but Camelback is hell on earth right now. Let's do that one in December.

What about Pinehurst? Tomorrow's high is only going to be 86.
Christians are superior because we possess an understanding that unbelievers lack. It is through the Power of Jesus only the converted mind is able to understand what is going on in the world; what the Communists are really up to; what Satan's intentions are. Most unbelievers do not even believe in Satan and cannot understand his tactics.

You're right. It is August, I forgot. I tend to forget the summer because I stay indoors with the air conditioning blasting. I don't care if the electric bill runs $20,000+ a month for my estate, I need to feel comfortable.

Pinehurst is a beautiful place, but the time I went there I lost, so I'm not okay with that. Plus, it's in North Carolina, which is much more humid than Arizona. How about Samoset up in Maine? I haven't gone there but some of my buddies love it. A gentle Atlantic breeze will keep us cool.

Samoset has gone downhill in my opinion. Why don't you pastors be my guest at my personal favorite course. The weather is just right and we can sample some of the local culture at the same time.
