I dont know who to Hate

If there was a quick reference guide to "Who God Wants Me to Hate Right Now", it would take all the guesswork out of who to hate today, and whether they should still be on my "Hate List" tomorrow.
    Can this issue be addressed?

I was also thinking a True Christian Hall of Fame could be established...for those Favourite Followers(TM) who have reached certain milestones in their tithing and are closer to Jesus as a result...

The devil, whose business is to pervert the truth, mimics the exact circumstance of the Divine Sacraments. He baptises his believers and promises forgiveness of sins...he celebrates the oblation of bread, and brings in the symbol of the resurrection. Let us therefore acknowledge the craftiness of the devil, who copied certain things of those that be divine."

As you quote, GOD sends animals to tear apart children who taunt old men for being bald, but we don't hate them for them. In fact, we don't hate anyone at all. We hate the sin, not the sinner.

I wonder if Mrs Betty Bowers agrees with you on that one.

Betty Bowers taught me that very principle, but she is entitled to change her mind. She is so close to Jesus that if you didn't know better, you'd think they were making out.

If you want to hate those whom your storybook deity is supposed to hate, the answer is pretty much everyone. Well, 90% of people, anyway.

There already is a very good quick reference guide on this subject, and all other subjects worth knowing about. It's called THE BIBLE!
O Lord our God, help us to tear their soldiers to bloody shreds with our shells; help us to cover their smiling fields with the pale forms of their patriot dead; help us to drown the thunder of the guns with the shrieks of their wounded, writhing in pain; help us to lay waste their humble homes with a hurricane of fire; help us to wring the hearts of their unoffending widows with unavailing grief; help us to turn them out roofless with little children to wander unfriended the wastes of their desolated land in rags and hunger and thirst, sports of the sun flames of summer and the icy winds of winter, broken in spirit, worn with travail, imploring Thee for the refuge of the grave and denied it--for our sakes who adore Thee, Lord, blast their hopes, blight their lives, protract their bitter pilgrimage, make heavy their steps, water their way with their tears, stain the white snow with the blood of their wounded feet! We ask it, in the spirit of love, of Him Who is the Source of Love, and Who is the ever-faithful refuge and friend of all that are sore beset and seek His aid with humble and contrite hearts. Amen.

God being truth, justice, goodness, beauty, power, and life, man is falsehood, iniquity, evil, ugliness, impotence, and death. God being master, man is the slave. Incapable of finding justice, truth, and eternal life by his own effort, he can attain them only through a divine revelation... he who desires to worship God must harbor no childish illusions about the matter, but bravely renounce his liberty and humanity.

But surely if God hates, it follows quite logically that it is Godly for us to hate also. Surely you arent suggesting God can exhibit a human emotion that we consider a failing and are ashamed to express ourselves?
Are you suggesting a hating God is a fallible God? Of course you arent....God is perfect, isn't he?
If its good enough for God to hate, I feel no guilt in following his example....or can you think of someone who is a better role model than God? I sure can't.....so I'm hating my way to resurrection. I guess I won't be seeing you there..........unless you start hating in Jesus name, praise be to God.

You misunderstand what we're saying here, Guy.. I think you need to pray and read the Bible more.
We are not to hate anyone so that we stop loving them (tough love; rebukes & chastening) but we are allown to hate them for being evil and vile sinners.
                      Clear enough?

                        Dear friend:

If you follow logic instead of God's Word, you will surely stray down the path to error. God, being God, has certain privileges that He chooses not to share with us. As you have pointed out, His Word lists people and things that He hates. Yet He commands us to love our enemies (Luke 6:35).
This church is dedicated to preaching True Christianity™ and the King James Bible exactly as they are, with no alterations to make them more politically correct for modern liberals. If you think that we've misquoted or twisted Scripture or quoted any verse out of context, please explain in detail how we've done so. Otherwise, if what you read on this site offends you, then you're offended by Almighty God and His Word, not by us.

its quite clear to me now. Its not a case of God leading by example, its a case of " do as i say, not as I do". Praise be to Jesus. I will no longer need to hate those who are different to me, because God does, but God says I should love them... I think. So I can love everyone for being Gods children, and hate them at the same time for being unsaved sinnerfolk. The duality of faith......its so perfect....
So should I take the attitude that "i'm hating you for your own good..."
