Friend, let me ask you an actual question, one that will determine the course of your immortal soul: Do you accept Jesus Christ as your Saviour? THAT is more important than whatever you want to eat for supper tonight.

However, on that topic, Jesus commanded us to eat meat, and He certainly ate meat. Hitler was an avowed vegantarian, and a filthy mary-worshiper, so that should give you some barometer. And yes, anyone who worships false Gods or practices paganism (veganism) IS in fact inferior...

Friend, if you read Acts chapter 10, you will see a list of items that were removed from the "unclean" list.

Acts 10:12 Wherein were all manner of fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air.

This list contains, 4 footed animals, creeping things and fowls of the air (those were originally unclean), now those things are acceptable. PRAISE JESUS!!! Which is why it's ok to eat a pork chop.

What isn't on that list?

Shellfish!

Flightless fowl!

Other things.

We aren't "kosher" but to be safe, some people are.

We are not filthy Christ-killing jews! Jesus freed us from the jew dietary laws (Mark 7:15-19, Acts 10:12-16, Rom. 14:1-3) although some members still regard lobster with suspicion I have to admit.

However, most aspects of the Old Testament are still in effect, constrained only by secular law. Jesus said (Matt. 5:18) "For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled." The ceremonial aspect of the Old Testament is no longer required to be observed, but God and His moral laws never change.
