Raputure Pods, an idea whose time has come.

I was watching that evil movie Matrix and an idea occurred to me; what if once a Christian was baptized they were put into a coma and place into a pod that would keep them alive until they died or Jesus returned? This way there would be no chance for a newly saved soul to sin before they died.

I know we considered killed the newly baptized but we decided that was suicide. A coma gets around that nice. What would even be better we could use artificial insemination to impregnate the women so they could keep on making little warriors for Christ?

    what do you all think?

Time to reclaim our FREEDOM from the “Mullah in Chief” and his growing activist voter hoards of socialists, communists, anti-Semites, anti-Christians, atheists, radical gays and lesbians, feminists, illegal immigrants, Muslims, anti-Anglo whites and others.

I think...that if you were to do that, then remind me never to get baptized old :p

Besides, how will you ever be able to convert people to Christianity, and save said souls, once you're all in comas?

And they say that the unsaved don't choose to be damned. You, dear friend, are a counter-example.

I'll defer to the senior pastors on that point, but in the meantime, it occurs to me that some of us, out of Christian love, would make the sacrifice to remain conscious to do all of that. Just consider the risks that people have taken throughout Christian history to spread the Gospel.
This church is dedicated to preaching True Christianity™ and the King James Bible exactly as they are, with no alterations to make them more politically correct for modern liberals. If you think that we've misquoted or twisted Scripture or quoted any verse out of context, please explain in detail how we've done so. Otherwise, if what you read on this site offends you, then you're offended by Almighty God and His Word, not by us.

Brother Bobby I think that is an EXCELLENT idea.

We should get started on this SOON because HE is coming any day now!

It's simple really. Just like Osama Bin Ladin WANTS to blow himself up for Jihad, he knows that someone has to recruit, train, and equip the people who will blow themselves up.

OBL is the one making the sacrifice. He's the one who has to stay living in the hell-hole that is the rugged lawless terrain of Afgahana-paki-iraqi-iranistan.

If he were to strap explosives on himself, sure he'd get his version of heaven (which is really hell) but then who would be there to provide for everyone else.

Some people are the suicide bombers, some make the bombs; mothers have to make both.

While I'm sure he'd rather be blown up, he's more of an asset living.

(Our pastors would be pretty much the same)
Judges 9:21 And Jotham ran away, and fled, and went to Beer, and dwelt there, for fear of Abimelech his brother.

Well, suppose I'd want to experience things on earth before that...a life-long coma (or a premature death) doesn't seem like much fun. It would put a bit of a damper on taking up Christianity for some.

Life isn't about fun, it is about God making your miserable and tormenting you until you break so He can see if you love Him or not.

I was hoping it was going to be one of Apple'$ new gadgets for reading the bible. An Mp3 device with pictures of every holy site and relic, and little religious movies and sermons built in.
May you be a blessing to every life you touch.

Why you hellbound little yellow monkey! How DARE you besmirch Pastor Pistle's preaching abilities!? I remember back in the day, when he stayed up in his pulpit for ONE SOLID WEEK preaching the gospel to a group of God forsaken Tahitian virgins. He could have given the job to another pastor but NO! Pastor Pistle took them on single-handedly behind locked doors and didn't stop preaching for a solid week! I know for a fact that no one was "in coma" during that time, because I was outside the church the entire time.

There was much weeping and wailing for Christ, I can tell you.

Pastor Pistle is a Man of God, much beloved by his congregation. You aren't fit to lick his boots, boy.

I'm not an atheist, I'm just a non-Christian. I do believe in certain religious aspects, and I'm not going to shoot down religious theories as being untrue...I'm just not committed enough to follow any particular religion.

I don't hate Jesus either. I've seen Passion of the Christ, and what they did to Him was bloody awful. If any part of Christianity, I do like Jesus.
