    As with man: Morality ends where a gun begins.

    This does not make him perfect, but more of a zealous street urchin demanding not for your cash, but for your acceptance and your mind.

    This is more of a special pleading and appeal to authority, you can't judge God's actions to be bad and not good or good and not bad.

    Just like a mugger with a gun pointed at your head isn't perfect, neither is God for the above stated reasons.

    The Bible is the most fundamental piece of literature there is. It is more important than Tom Sawyer or Catcher in the Rye. If you haven't read the Bible, then you probably haven't read anything. Wouldn't somebody with the least amount of sense read the book that keeps you out of Hell first? Why would anybody in their right mind go around reading Catch 22, when that means they could be hit by a bus any second and wind up roasting in Hell, being sodomized with a red hot pitchfork and having your genitalia devoured by little snaggle-toothed demons for all eternity? It just doesn't sound right does it?

    So nice of you to feel bad for me, but you are the one who is going to Hell. Of course, I don't feel bad for you because it is your choice and you will just have to live with it for all eternity.

    These things are just obviously false. All one has to do is look at they sky to debunk these claims.

    It does, however, make you a false prophet, and since when do we take lessons on faith from known false prophets?

    Matt. 7:15-20: Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither [can] a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

    And being a nice person doesn't get you a place in Heaven either. Please take a look at my sermon on the subject HERE.

    Please make a thread of your own in the "Introductions" section of the forum, so that we can properly greet you. Tell us about yourself, your church, and how you came to find Jesus.

    And if you're here to flame us, better take a look at THIS before making an even bigger ass out of yourself.

    Yes it does!
    • If you are a True Christian™ you are a good person;
    • If you are a bad person, you are not a True Christian™;
    • No True Christian(tm) would speak against the Lord;
    • Therefore Roddenberry is a bad person and not a True Christian(tm).

    Persons who are not True Christians™ yet prophesy, are false prophets.
    The Lord of Hosts says to ignore false prophets.

    What point? God cannot be judged, because He is more powerful than us and can destroy us if we question His will, like a potter destroys a work of clay. Therefore, everyone he does is perfect. Haven't you read the Bible?

    Romans 9:11Yet, before the twins were born or had done anything good or bad—in order that God's purpose in election might stand: 12not by works but by him who calls—she was told, "The older will serve the younger."[a] 13Just as it is written: "Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated."[b]
    14What then shall we say? Is God unjust? Not at all! 15For he says to Moses,
    "I will have mercy on whom I have mercy,
    and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion."[c] 16It does not, therefore, depend on man's desire or effort, but on God's mercy. 17For the Scripture says to Pharaoh: "I raised you up for this very purpose, that I might display my power in you and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth."[d] 18Therefore God has mercy on whom he wants to have mercy, and he hardens whom he wants to harden.
    19One of you will say to me: "Then why does God still blame us? For who resists his will?" 20But who are you, O man, to talk back to God? "Shall what is formed say to him who formed it, 'Why did you make me like this?' "[e] 21Does not the potter have the right to make out of the same lump of clay some pottery for noble purposes and some for common use?
    22What if God, choosing to show his wrath and make his power known, bore with great patience the objects of his wrath—prepared for destruction?
