I believe these drunkards fornicators and homosexuals weren't been shown the way of the christianity. Accepting these people would help them to become christians and end their sins. Not accepting these people would make things only worse, this is what i think, god doesn't want hate and war, he wants love and peace.

I'll be more than happy to hear ones opinion so i can correct myself if i'm wrong.
Let us live isolated from sinners

      Leviticus 10:10 And that ye may put difference between holy and unholy, and between unclean and clean;

2nd Chronicles19:2 And Jehu the son of Hanani the seer went out to meet him, and said to king Jehoshaphat, Shouldest thou help the ungodly, and love them that hate the LORD? therefore is wrath upon thee from before the LORD.

Job 12:4 I am as one mocked of his neighbour, who calleth upon God, and he answereth him: the just upright man is laughed to scorn.

Matthew 8:21 And another of his disciples said unto him, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father.
Matthew 8:22 But Jesus said unto him, Follow me; and let the dead bury their dead.

Matthew 10:14 And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet.
Matthew 10:15 Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.

Matthew 12:47 Then one said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to speak with thee.
Matthew 12:48 But he answered and said unto him that told him, Who is my mother? and who are my brethren?
Matthew 12:49 And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren!
Matthew 12:50 For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.

Luke 6:22 Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake.

Luke 14:26 If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.

John 15:18 If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.
John 15:19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.
John 15:20Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.
John 15:21But all these things will they do unto you for my name's sake, because they know not him that sent me.

1st Corinthians 5:11 But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.

1st Corinthians 10:20 But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils.

2nd Corinthians 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
2nd Corinthians 6:15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
2nd Corinthians 6:16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
2nd Corinthians 6:17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,

Ephesians 5:11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.

2nd Thessalonians 3:6 Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us.

1st John 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

1st John 3:13 Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you.

2nd John 1:9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.
2nd John 1:10 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:
2nd John 1:11 For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

James 4:4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

thanks for your reply P Wintersnow tought even it is quite irrelevant to my question.

If i'm closed minded, i would like to hear why, because then i could fix my own ways.

God bless for you Mrs. P Wintersnow
It was hardly irrelevant as you barged in here claiming we are closed minded. I was clarifying that it is more than obvious, that we are not.

I should perhaps ask Sir, are you actually an agnostic or perhaps an atheist as even the fluffy-bunny Christians go out of their way to capitalize any reference to Our Lord Jesus Christ. Christianity of course is a vital reference point to Our Lord and it appears to me that you are mocking God by not recognizing this.

It is also quite difficult for us to answer any question when in reality you have not posed one. You came in here with an accusatory statement. The fact you added a little question mark on the end does not automatically mean said statement would read with upward inflection nor make any sense as a question.

Perhaps if you were to state why you believe we are the ones with the closed minds; as in give specific references as to your personal reason for this assumption, and then ask us why we believe "x" or "y". I am quite confident if you were to do it that way, any True Christian™ or perhaps a Biblically adept Forum Member would be able to clarify the matter/s for you.

        YIC,

        Mrs.P.Wintersnow

"Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?" - - Matthew 6:25

Thank you for your response Wintersnow, also i'd like to add i'm a little.. Simple, so it's a bit hard for me to understand long phrases of text thinking what one is trying to say to me.

anyways i think understood what you said, and yes most people i have seen uses bible as referance point, as hard proof of what does jesus and god do and tries follow his example, this is atleast what i think, but i try understand the ways of god and try follow his example, this is a little different from refering to him trought phrases tought.

Simpleton atheist or not, the above made no sense whatsoever . You also continued to mock God.

There is no harder PROOF of God than the KJV1611 and even you as a simpleton would realize that MANY a "Law of the Land" have been set by the strict examples God gave to us all in the KJV1611 Bible in certain Commandments. Do you believe it is closed minded to follow and do what is morally correct, or do you run around murdering people and then stealing their wallets?

Moral, and open midness is two different things, just like orange and banana.

Having an open mind, would mean one is able to have "wider vision" In oneselfs life,

open-minded - ready to entertain new ideas; "an open-minded curiosity"; "open-minded impartiality"broad-minded - inclined to respect views and beliefs that differ from your own; "a judge who is broad-minded but even-handed"

I'm sorry if you misunderstood me, indeed there is no harder proof than kjv 1611, i dont run around stealing peoples wallets and killing them either.

I think i have an overall good morale, i dont usually want anything bad to people if they doesn't want anything bad at me or my relatives. I follow what i think is morally correct, and yeah i think it is possible to follow closed mindendly and open mindedly what is morally correct, prove me tho if i am wrong

Anyways it's getting a little late over here so i'm going to sleep soon. I'll stay around for a while tought

Thanks for your reply tho P Wintersnow.

However, most people who claim to be open-minded come in here and have absolutely no respect for our views or beliefs. You can be a conservative and open-minded, these two are not opposites.

Personally I think I'm open minded. As long as you stay out of my life, I'll stay out of yours. It's when people spit on the traditions of this great country and try and force their filthy disgusting behaviours down my throats that I start getting upset.

Having an open mind, would mean one is able to have "wider vision" In oneselfs life,
It's a little presumptuous of you to assume that just because we live every letter of His word, that we don't have a wider vision of our own lives and of the world as a whole. Many of us on here have traveled across the world, visited places you have never even seen nor perhaps ever thought of; which in itself allows a greater insight into oneself and the life and lifestyles of others.

See my response above as well as.. in my book, respect is earned, not a given when dealing with the human condition. Remember, it was YOU who came in here with the judgemental attitude in the first place, uninvited no less, making arduous and unfounded claims.

I'm sorry if you misunderstood me, indeed there is no harder proof than kjv 1611, i dont run around stealing peoples wallets and killing them either.
                                That is good to know.

I think i have an overall good morale, i dont usually want anything bad to people if they doesn't want anything bad at me or my relatives. I follow what i think is morally correct, and yeah i think it is possible to follow closed mindendly and open mindedly what is morally correct, prove me tho if i am wrong.
Well there you go. Perhaps that is where we differ. I for one don't wish ill will on ANYONE. I don't need a "disclaimer" saying as long as they don't do bad by me or my relatives as it seems you do, so it is obvious that you put conditions on who you would help out and who you would not. Following the Lord however means I want to help as many people as I possibly can; whether people like you deem them as bad or not.

Obviously the Parable of the Good Samaritan does not ring true nor make sense in your alleged "open-minded" life.

                                Luke 10:30-37
And Jesus answering said, A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his raiment, and wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead.

And by chance there came down a certain priest that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side.

And likewise a Levite, when he was at the place, came and looked on him, and passed by on the other side.

But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him,

And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him.

And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee.

Which now of these three, thinkest thou, was neighbour unto him that fell among the thieves?

And he said, He that shewed mercy on him. Then said Jesus unto him, Go, and do thou likewise.

You see? I and my good Brothers and Sisters here, would be like the good Samaritan, where you would be like the priest or Levite.

                                Think about that, Mr Snowurn.
