I would say that homosexuality comes from selfish desire, and in making your desires less so, you will diminish the inclination towards the act, until it is finally gone. I've studied sin, among them, the seven deadly sins (a way of categorizing them) and learnt that one sin makes the others strong, so if you are greedy, lust will also increase within you. But knowing that helps you save yourself from acts and words etc that are contrary to your conscience, as it truly is, because in ridding yourself of greed or lessening it you will also diminish homosexual attraction. Another thing that can make you 'queer' is wanting fame or attention constantly, and in a sort of 'war' for it, you end up becoming gay to maintain control or "fame".

Try working with seven deadly sins, the six besides lust, and see what lessening those has of an effect on lust itself. You will find yourself more and more free from all kinds of lust by lessening the hold the other six have over you, assuming they do (as is not uncommon today). Also, study up on what the seven contrary virtues are, so you know what you have to aim for. The virtue opposing greed isn't poverty but it is temperance and fairness, at least if you aim to be a householder. If you want to be a Saint, you have no choice but to go for poverty, because the more you lose in the world, the more you are able to see your brothers clearly, and have the necessary purity within, to help them, in a christian way.

1: I don't touch babies.
2: there is such a thing as a gay baby, but since babies show no sign of sexual preference (obviously, they're babies), people assume that they "turn gay", once they become older. According to you, possibly by watching soccer.
3: I'm glad states like Connecticut ,Iowa, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, and Washington D.C., have decided to legalize gay-marriage. I imagine if any of you live in those areas you did nothing to help.
