It was written in 1892, but "under God" wasn't added to the pledge until 1954.

When they made us say the Pledge of Allegiance in school, I wouldn't say the "under God" part. That probably represents the entire extent of my rebellious nature growing up.

I don't believe I have ignored any questions. This is not a matter of what I believe. I don't have a mere religion about a God that I don't know. I know Him, and He lives in me by the Spirit. It is clear that you, and most of your friends here at Landover have religion about Christ but without Christ. You use the Bible as a fall-back position and rely on that old heresy of 'sola scriptura'. In my experience pretty well everyone who holds to that doctrine is a dead theological pedant who holds that God is a Bible-tossing God today; that God does not speak to His people any more, as He did in the past, and merely tosses a Bible at someone and says 'work it out for yourself'. That is not the way God does things, it never has been, and it never will be. It is a plainly revealed truth in the Scripture that if His people don't listen to Him and simply do as He says/leads they WILL go wrong. Jesus said, "Without me you can do nothing." "My sheep hear my voice, and they follow me." It is not possible to follow someone you don't know, and cannot hear speak to you.

We have already pointed out numerous scripture that tell you to beware of false prophets, and that we can tell these false prophets because they tell us to go against what is taught in the Bible. The spirit inside of you is not the Holy Ghost, it is not Jesus, it is a demon imitating an angel of light. However, instead of taking our warning, you just ignore them and keep going on about how we don't know Christ because we don't agree with you. The difference is that we have scripture to back up our argument, you on the other hand have whatever a little voice inside your head says, and you don't seem to understand the difference.

God and Jesus are speaking to us. They left behind the Bible, as a testimony and will for us puny mortals. It is a guideline, a shining light in the shadow of the valley of death.

Some are blessed with the ability to hear Jesus and God through their visions. The rest of us, however, must do what we can instead, using the words of God as described in the Bible.
