Interfering with people's PROFILES

I wonder how many posters are aware how the administrators of this "godly" forum interfere with people's profiles. I awoke this morning to find mine had been altered in a number of respects:

1. A new avatar of a typical gay man clad in leather.

2. My location (incorrectly) identified as Chesterfield.

3. My username changed to (aka Danny the Queer). My name is Stevie.
FYI Danny is my civil partner. I still find it very disturbing however that you took part of his email address and published his first name here.

How very Christian and grown-up of you.

I really don't see what the problem is here. Danny is a homosexual, therefore "Danny the queer" speaks to that. And having his name as part of your username acknowledges your so-called "civil partnership": I mean really, what MORE do you homos want from us? Haven't we Christians done enough bending over backwards, and forwards, to accommodate your depravity?!

This is so ridiculous. I have posted on Christian forums, atheist forums, interfaith forums and just about every sort of forum you could imagine and I have NEVER seen someone being confined to one thread!!!!!

I guess I was just winning too many arguments and you people were worried that I might in fact enlighten some of your regular parishioners????

The reason was pointed out way back here.

How to Post Like Christian Rover

1. Start a new topic.
2. Make a claim that goes against established True Christianity™.
3. When Bible verses are presented to you that show you are wrong, ignore them or say that they are no longer applicable. (Of course, the Bible verses that support your argument are completely valid and right!)
4. Get demolished further by True Christians™ who know more about the Bible than you do.
5. Don't admit your loss. Ignore and sidestep the issue altogether.
6. Go back to Rule #1.

But since you're so in love with your own postings you don't actually read anyone elses, I guess you didn't notice.

Face it, you're not a Christian, your a Stevieist. You belong to the Church of Stevie and only worship Stevie. You see your God every morning in the mirror and spend a lot of time worshiping him. You're as much of a Christian as my dog is.

Why don't you try your act at rapture ready and see how long they tolerate your weak apologetics for sodomy? Try posting your claptrap at CARM and find out if your post ever sees the light of day.

I’ve changed my mind about supporting gay men in gaining any rights or status in our society. For the past couple of years I’ve noticed a disturbing trend of women being abused and oppressed and disrespected by gay men.

I’m seeing gay men attack women in the work place, attacking them verbally and leaving them in dangerous situations simply because they hate women and view them as competition for mates. This blasphemy is the absolute last thing that women need, to have gay men making their lives more difficult.

I’ve repeatedly witnessed gay men disrespect and mistreat women by making passes at husbands and boyfriends, directing hostility and open aggression towards women and turning normal outings into stressful and hurtful excursions. I can no longer support this minority because they’re harming women and in a world that is already openly hateful of females, this is catastrophic.

Very true Lisa. When I was forced for economical reasons to live downtown, I cannot count the times that I was called "fish" by a pack of them. They'll never take you on one-on-one, but when they're in packs, they will attack.

Sister B.I.G, were I live it is quite common to see gay men not give up their seats for women. Many Christian pregnant women complain that when they ask a gay man if they can have a seat, they are yelled at and told they are dirty disgusting whores.

Well in my experience women get along very well indeed with gay men. They generally feel less threatened and intimidated by them. They also tend to think gay men are less likely than their girlfriends to gossip or be bitchy about them behind their backs. I have many good female friends, and in fact the only place I have encountered a woman with a problem with my sexuality is online.
