Did God create insomnia

Hello! Did he give us so many verses to love us or confuse us?

To teach fear or let us down? Heh. I must be singing the Imperials song!

If the Lord leads you to it, he will get you through it.

The Bible is an AID to insomniacs - ten minutes reading it & it'll send anyone to sleep.
In order to be old & wise,you must first be young & stupid.

Or for chaste widows like noddy, a Godly son-on-law to keep me in line, Pastor! for it is written ...

Titus 2:3 The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things;

Titus 2:4 That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,

Titus 2:5 To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.

... ssshh
1st Timothy 2: 9 In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;
1st Timothy 2: 10 But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works ...

1 Timothy 5: 16 If any man or woman that believeth have widows, let them relieve them, and let not the church be charged; that it may relieve them that are widows indeed ...

Proverbs 31: 26 She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness ...
Proverbs 31: 27 She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness ...

Sorry for my stupid post. Working nights does take a toll on the sleep value of balancing/taking care of kids/husband/church/prayer time/womens gathering fellowship at my home on Wed. nights/ Joyce Meyer's workbooks and Bishop Jake's/calculating the 10% bi-weekly/baking/ having enough oil in my house to rebuke demons. etc.

I just have to make sure everything is in check.

<trying not to laugh at SalvationSeeker's post.

That's unfair. Sometimes she uses as well.
O Lord our God, help us to tear their soldiers to bloody shreds with our shells; help us to cover their smiling fields with the pale forms of their patriot dead; help us to drown the thunder of the guns with the shrieks of their wounded, writhing in pain; help us to lay waste their humble homes with a hurricane of fire; help us to wring the hearts of their unoffending widows with unavailing grief; help us to turn them out roofless with little children to wander unfriended the wastes of their desolated land in rags and hunger and thirst, sports of the sun flames of summer and the icy winds of winter, broken in spirit, worn with travail, imploring Thee for the refuge of the grave and denied it--for our sakes who adore Thee, Lord, blast their hopes, blight their lives, protract their bitter pilgrimage, make heavy their steps, water their way with their tears, stain the white snow with the blood of their wounded feet! We ask it, in the spirit of love, of Him Who is the Source of Love, and Who is the ever-faithful refuge and friend of all that are sore beset and seek His aid with humble and contrite hearts. Amen.

God being truth, justice, goodness, beauty, power, and life, man is falsehood, iniquity, evil, ugliness, impotence, and death. God being master, man is the slave. Incapable of finding justice, truth, and eternal life by his own effort, he can attain them only through a divine revelation... he who desires to worship God must harbor no childish illusions about the matter, but bravely renounce his liberty and humanity.

Lilith,

Must you persist in your' insistence in believing made up stories about invisible super men living in the clouds? This pagan nonsense with all these god surviving their own deaths after impregnating their own mothers with themselves really is quite weird and more than a little bit disturbing. Can't you throw of your' blinders and see the rationality of Christianity Lilith?

Whereas YOUR religion is all about....God. Who:

A) Lives in the sky

Is invisible

C) Has a son - or maybe it's him,who can tell - who is the result of his Mum being impregnated by an "angel"

D) This son was killed,then suddenly wasn't actually dead.

So...what was that difference again,BJ?

The difference is obvious to anyone who has accepted Christ as their personal Savior©.

Quite possibly you are one of the many who God has deluded purposefully.

God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned.--2 Th.2:11-12

Enjoy hell, harlot.
