          THE BIBLICAL DESCRIPTION OF HELL

A place of hopelessness and suffering - as a woman is about to give birth to a child, many go through painful labor that can last from a few minutes to a few days. But through this painful anguishing time, there is hope that when the child is born this terrible labor pain will subside. Just imagine if you can if that pain was multiplied many times over and you would never have hope of it ever going away forever? You would do anything to die to get rid of the pain, but it would always remain and continue forever and ever and ever. THIS IS HELL!

A place of memory - When a person is tormented with a bitter memory they sometimes may commit suicide as a way out. In hell this is impossible because your spirit will never die, but will always remember how you sold your soul for the pleasures of this short sinful life. You will continue to always wish you were in heaven instead of hell, if only you would have made the right decision.

Oh man or woman, boy or girl without Christ, if only you would realize how dangerously close you are to hell. With each second that passes by, you are drawing nearer and nearer to hell. Actually this night your soul may be required of you and will pass into an eternity of the fires of hell that are never quenched!

Oh how completely the opposite is the Christian who knows the Lord Jesus as their Lord and Savior. They are living for Him now and wait with expedient hope of His return or when they will also get to pass into eternity and experience the complete glorious bliss called heaven.

Matthew 5:48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

Matthew 16:27 For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.

Matthew 19:17 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.

Luke 8:21 And he answered and said unto them, My mother and my brethren are these which hear the word of God, and do it.

John 5:29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

Acts 26:20 But shewed first unto them of Damascus, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the coasts of Judaea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, and do works meet for repentance.

1 Timothy 4:16 Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.

James 1:22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

James 2:24 Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.

1 Peter 1:17 And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man's work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear:

            Who is the false prophet?
I see you enjoy taking the Scripture out of context. These verses state that you will be blessed in heaven and store up heavenly riches by doing good works. This does not mean, as you portray in "Playtime with Jesus" that you will not go to Heaven if you do not pay tithes. There are only two requirements for going to Heaven: Believing that Jesus is your savior, and died on the cross for you, and following the Ten Commandments. Now lets check my infractions shall we?

"Athiest scum using Landover to mock Christianity."

My goodness. This wouldn't be such a serious accusation, except that I am a Christian. Indeed, all Athiest Scum use the Bible and praise God while arguing with you?

And Levi, is that the only point you can attempt to refute? Have you no answer for any of the others?

He is JUSTIFIED, not saved by works.

To be justified, as I interpret it, means to have righteousness.

                  Re: False Messages?

Do you really think God would want a thief to be with him in Heaven? Do you really think that stealing from God is not a sin? The Bible clearly states that not tithing is the same as stealing from God, and you will be cursed for it by God.
                  Malachi 3:8-9
Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.
Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation.

So yes, the Playtime with Jesus page is accurate. Not paying the tithes means not going to heaven.

All the rest you complain about, saying only Faith is needed and we don't need to do any good works is simply slanderous. If you have Faith in God you will do the right thing (i.e. you will do whatever God asks of you), including not sinning, paying the tithes, etc.
                  Leviticus 26:15-16
And if ye shall despise my statutes, or if your soul abhor my judgments, so that ye will not do all my commandments, but that ye break my covenant: I also will do this unto you; I will even appoint over you terror, consumption, and the burning ague, that shall consume the eyes, and cause sorrow of heart: and ye shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it.

Well, there's your problem. You're not supposed to "interpret" the clear and precise instructions laid out by GOD in the Bible! Do you "interpret" secular law too? "No, officer, I was not speeding based on my interpretation of the law, so driving at 120mph through a school zone is just fine!"

So, can we be saved without being justified? Use scripture.

                        Re: False Messages?

Except often times, they are not "clear and precise". Things meant differently back then. For instance, it was not allowed in those days for women to teach the men. However, that is no longer the case, so that point becomes void now.

Also, you're a woman, and I am a man? By your belief system, does that not mean that you should not be trying to correct me?

And HeathenBasher... really? Do you not know what the word Paganism means? It means a non-Christain religion. How does preaching out the right form of Christianity mean that I am trying to "corrupt your children to paganism"?

@AFollower: As the others, you seem to be deluded. Above all, to get into Heaven, you must believe that Jesus died for your sins and was raised again in 3 days. All other things pale in importance compared to that.

In addition, is this not a attempt to corrupt our children? Telling them that what they're parents say is wrong, and that Children should correct their parents? This does not seem like "honoring your parents" to me.

NO, you don't get to make the rules for other people. That is only void in secular society. A TRUE Christian(tm) doesn't accept women over men. Therefore to a TRUE Christian(tm) ALL scripture is clear and precise. Only a FALSE Christian would see it otherwise.

HeathenBasher, yes you can. As I said above, you need to believe that Jesus died for your sins and rose again. That above all else.

I see Bobby. Basically what you are saying is...

That if you and your christain denomination do not mark someone a "True Christian TM" then obviously they must be wrong.

Apparently, you seem to think that people are only Christians if you and your fellows confirm them so.

However, as this verse says, I am not going to conform to YOUR "pattern of the world."

Rom 12:2: Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind

No, you are lying again. Girl, you need to read the Bible before you spout more nonsense.

The Bible doesn't change based on what year it is. God doesn't change based on what year it is. The rules don't change because a certain society commits more sins than in the past. When Sodom was full of fags did God change the rules and decide fags were normal from then on? No, He wiped them out!.

And there certainly isn't an "above all" rule in the Bible, the Bible clearly tells us it is the exact opposite.
