If you read this right, it says if they go serve other gods. Which means they knew of Jesus and rejected him. They believed in him but rejected him. You have a decent point but the reason he is being stoned is because he thrust God away. There is a difference. But that is the only argument I have heard from the Landover Baptists and I thank you. It just goes to prove that the bible does contradict itself.

Wouldn't a perfect being also be able to feel perfect hate? What makes you think that you can even comprehend God's capabilities with your puny little mind?

God has the ability to Hate because He loves his children so much that he can hate. He starts out with love. So far I have not heard one instance of love on this site. Only hate. God may hate, but its rare and few cases. He loves first. What have you ever loved? What person have you ever been tolerant of? You hate Jews and all other Christians. You hate anyone who steps out of their way to help the needy. They are being like Jesus and you hate them. So in turn, do you hate Jesus? You have that perfect ability to love so you have the ability to hate reasonably? Or do you just hate who doesn't think like you?

I did that many times already. You clearly never read the entire Bible, you just copies some fragments from a website somewhere. Did you ever even touch a Bible?

God can do whatever He wishes.

He explains many times in the Bible whom He hates.

Consider this point:

The Bible makes it clear that the dead are dead and unknowing. Then, at Judgment, they are resurrected by God so He may either reward them for eternity or punish them.

Instead of leaving sinners dead, God will resurrect all of them so that He may cast them into His Lake of Fire and torture them for all eternity. No chance of escape, no possibility of death. Unending, infinite punishment for finite sins -- sometimes sins as small as being born in Africa and never exposed to the Word of God.

Does that sound like He loves those people to you? He hates them, with perfect, Godly hatred.

Did I say that? Did I say that I could possibly comprehend the vastness of God? Why do you think we discuss Jesus so much? It's easier to comprehend God as Jesus than to comprehend something so vast that He can create and destroy worlds.

John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

Romans 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

God has the ability to Hate because He loves his children so much that he can hate. He starts out with love.

Well then you're not looking very hard. We proclaim our love of God and Jesus all the time. We also clearly state that if we didn't love sinners with True Christian(tm) Love, we wouldn't concern ourselves with them. We would just keep separated and not bother.

I gave you a pretty long list of what God hates. Have you looked at Pastor Ezekiels signature? It gives a complete list of those that God is sending to Hell.

You bring up good points and i yeild. I guess I only saw the negative posts on this site. Thank you. But as a mormon, we do a lot of charity work. First we don't hate toys for tots. We are the first on the scene in almost any natural disaster. If you would like proof i would be happy to bring out evidence. And for the last time, I am a man.
