SANFORD, Fla. - A Florida car dealership is trying to drum up business is offering an unusual perk for potential used-truck buyers: A free AK-47 assault rifle.
General sales manager Nick Ginetta says that since the promotion was announced on Veterans Day, business has more than doubled at Nations Trucks in Sanford.
Customers would have to pass a background check before using the $400 (€290) gun shop voucher. They also have the option of using the money toward other firearms, or they can request a check in that amount instead.
The dealership has fielded some complaints about the deal, which Ginetta acknowledges is controversial. But, he adds: "My buyer is absolutely a gun owner, no question."
The promotion runs through the end of November.

Well, we know how this guy votes. If it was a democrat, they'd be giving away free hugs to trees...or heck just give the truck away, they don't care what they spend anyway.

Anyway, what a splendid idea, my only suggestion would be to shove a KJV1611 in the glove box (as well as maybe ask the voucher be spent on American made arms, not communists). I hope this catches on, been kind of looking for a new truck (and machine gun).

No, his goal is admirable; to provide the invariably Christian pickup truck owner with another firearm, praise Jesus!

But he is limited in what he can offer thanks to the commie liberal FDR that allowed the 1934 "National Firearms Act" to become law. And all the bleeding heart pinkos since him that have made ownership of an automatic weapon by a Christian man ever more impossible without threats of persecution and incarceration.

We trust Joo soldiers and Catholic policemen with automatic weapons but not the True Christian™ man. Who is inherently more trustworthy?

Thanks to the pacifist Democrats, this man cannot hand out full auto AK-47s, M-16s or even HK MP5s. He does what he can with the substandard and woefully inadequate semi-auto AK-47 knock off. Sad times.

Since it takes a ''special'' ATF clearance to keep a fully automatic weapon In the USA the dealer might have suggested this particular weapon because of the ability to convert a modern AK 47 from semi to full automatic.
During my searches to find out how difficult it would be, web sites based in the USA would not even discuss how it could be done. They fear that the ATF would make life miserable for them. I was able to find a website from a group located outside the USA that explains how EASY it is to convert one. They say it can be done with an off the shelf AK, a screwdriver and a bread tie wrap!
I want to state that I do not know if this option would work, be safe or get you in deep doo-doo with the authorities. I have cut and pasted the description of the procedure only. If you want more information it was a fairly easy search for the instructions.

Materials Needed:

1 AK-47
1 twist-tie
and lots of ammunition


How it Works:

Stages of action in a semi-automatic AK-47:

1. Cock the rifle - The trigger Sear (the sear is the "catch")
holds the Bolt-Carrier in a ready-to-fire position.

2. Pull the trigger - The bolt is released causing the firing pin
to strike the shells primer thereby firing the bullet.

3. Piston comes back - Due to the pressure of the shells powder
exploding the "gas" piston is forced back moving the bolt-
carrier assembly along with it to re-cock the rifle.

4. Missing the trigger sear - If you are still holding the
trigger, the bolt carrier will miss the trigger sear and get
caught by a second sear behind the trigger sear. If you weren't
still holding the trigger the bolt-carrier would catch on the
trigger sear so you would have to pull the trigger again.

5. Release the trigger - The trigger mechanism causes the second
sear to release and the bolt-carrier moves forward stopping on
the trigger sear.

6. Now the process repeats at stage 2.

That's semi-automatic. Hmmm, if that second sear wasn't there
wouldn't the bolt-carrier just miss the trigger sear and if you held
the trigger it would just keep firing? Hell yes.

Well friends - it appears that they are indeed "American" made AK-47's based on the original template. I say that's pretty American, taking an idea and improving on it.

There is even a map of where they are manufactured and by whom.

If you are supplying an entire army of mooslims, sure. But these are NRA card carrying Americans, they don't want cheap, they want the "Made In America" quality we've all come to expect (and as my post above, that's what they are getting - American made AK's).

Look, I've got a tricked out American-Made AR 15. Cost me $2000 plus. Can't reliably be converted to full auto. It looks just fabulous.

The AK looks like junk, cheap wood stock alone looks like a chunk of firewood. But friends and neighbors, that machine ROCKS. You just can't kill it. Converts to full auto easily. BUT....you have to keep it under wraps until the negroes actually stampede. Nothing will keep busybodys busy more than when they hear the clatter of an automatic weapon. Police get called, questions are asked, investigations conducted, blah blah.
