    Biblical History discussion

If 40 percent of Americans refuse to believe that humans evolved from earlier hominids, how many will accept that the book we know as the Bible evolved from earlier texts and was not handed down, in toto, by God in its present form?

The fossil evidence for human evolution is permanently on display at the American Museum of Natural History. Hard evidence that the Bible took its present shape over centuries will be on display for the next 11 weeks...

It is gratifying to see that Washington D.C., the American capital...home to the soon to be minority Republican Congress, has a Government funded display of this nature. Considering the complex nature of Biblical history, the curators have done well without much visible help from the world's foremost Biblical scholars, our Catholic brain trust.

I expect a lively and insightful debate regarding this display over in our private Vatican forum and will report back here with the discussion high points soon. In the meantime, a Baptist perspective (without the usual specious and vile claims and accusations against Mother Church please) would be appreciated and insightful.

    Bless you my aspiring Catholics,
    Father Mo

Minority Congress? Jesus has told President Bush that there will be a Republican majority next November.

The only alterations to scripture have been from Satan using the Calicker church. Fortunately God inspired King James to write the correct version.

Time to reclaim our FREEDOM from the “Mullah in Chief” and his growing activist voter hoards of socialists, communists, anti-Semites, anti-Christians, atheists, radical gays and lesbians, feminists, illegal immigrants, Muslims, anti-Anglo whites and others.
