Luke 2:4-5 4And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David ) 5To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child.

Clearly the above mentioned child not being Joseph. And Mary and Joseph were not married, thus she was carrying an illegitimate child, regardless of how it might have been conceived.
And yet the bible clearly states here:

Deuteronomy 23:2 2 A bastard shall not enter into the congregation of the LORD; even to his tenth generation shall he not enter into the congregation of the LORD.

So there you have it. By the word of the bible, Jesus, an illegitimate child, should not even be allowed to enter heaven.
So, flat Earth believers, just how do you explain that one?
That is one of the dumbest arguments I've seen on these forums.

Because they're the ones God dictated it to...
They were simply typewriters, a tool for the LORD.
(They didn't even get it quite right the first time however, most of them being faulty joo tools, that's why the KJV1611 was made.)

This is what happens when females try to minister.

              34. Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience as also saith the law.

              35. And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church

I have to disagree here, Lilith. Dubya, as much of a dimwit as he is, is surely too tied up to be writing SS's posts.

                  Well, we know the answer.
Because it was written by HUMANS, and later thrown together in a jumbled mishmash, then later people like Constantine decided what went in and what didn't.
But SS's answer will probably be 'because god said so, you stupid harlots'. old

We cannot know the Mind of God, for it is beyond our understanding. We must trust to faith that God has given unto us His message in His own time.

You make a constant mistake seen in all whom deny God's greatness. This mistake is based in your own arrogance and lack of respect. It is God who brought those people to His words. God guided those who found all the books.

                        16. Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed.
And in Your book they all were written,
                        The days fashioned for me,
When as yet there were none of them.

                        Psalm 139:16

I imagine Lilith that you were brought up as a spoiled child. Always getting your way and crying your eyes out if you did not. You constantly make demands, expecting that everything you desire must come to you as a right. You desire too much and make demands of God as if He must always bow to you and offer gifts in place of your offering faith to Him. God does not bow to greedy children, Lilith.

As a matter of fact, someone being conceived out of wedlock is not the same as their being born out of wedlock. To be illegitimate the second must occur.

But Jesus is God -- none of this applies to him, you nitwit.
