I am planning to watch David Copperfield transubstatiate on the Comedy Channel. It's an annual event and very entertaining. This year he is doing a Juggalo show with gothic exhortations!

Was Jesus just kidding when He said "He who EATS MY FLESH and DRINKS MY BLOOD has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day"? "The bread that I will give is MY FLESH for the LIFE OF THE WORLD"? How about "For MY FLESH IS TRUE FOOD, AND MY BLOOD IS TRUE DRINK"?

Why don't you take these literally?

1. The audience believed His speech as literal, so many of his disciples fled and went back to their former lifestyles. If He was speaking metaphorically, He would have said, "Come back, come back! I was only talking in a metaphorical sense!" But since He was speaking literally, He let them go.
2. Which will be dismissed very soon and followed by a perjury trial against quite a few LBC members (You have no idea who it is and just want someone to blame!)
