Was Jesus just kidding when He said "He who EATS MY FLESH and DRINKS MY BLOOD has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day"? "The bread that I will give is MY FLESH for the LIFE OF THE WORLD"? How about "For MY FLESH IS TRUE FOOD, AND MY BLOOD IS TRUE DRINK"?

Why don't you take these literally?

I use dyes made from onion skins, beets, and other edible plants. And Oestre has nothing to do with Judaism or Jesus. It's a celebration of the return of spring.

The word "estrus" (or "oestrus") comes from the same root word as "Oestre" - spring is when plants are fertile, as well as many animals - that's what the eggs and rabbits symbolize.

That certainly explains why, when He died and was taken down from the cross, the disciples fell upon him like zombies in Night of the Living Dead. Because only those who ate His flesh and drank His blood would have Salvation(c).

Oh, wait. They didn't. They buried Him. Then, after His Reserection, they likewise didn't eat Him. Thomas put his hand in Jesus' side, but didn't respond, "That's some finger-lickin' good Savior!"
