Hi, atheist here. I am currently laughing at anyone who actually takes a significant time out of their day to visit this forum and post thousands of times per day.

    >is an atheist simply driven to eat, sleep, and have sex with the closest hole that fits a peg (or peg that fits a hole, as it were)?

To anyone who isn't an extremist christian (99.99% of the world at the very least), you are a little ignorant [removed by poster]. Please give me a moment to pity your and your friends' lives.

      Dear Godmocking Maggot;

Thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule of worshiping satan and raping stray dogs to post this hateful message. The Holy Bible tells us that we are actually Blessed by your persecution! Thanks for proving that we're right.

Matthew 5:10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
5:11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
5:12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.
Enjoy hell. I know that Jesus and I can't wait to watch you burn in hell for all eternity. Oh, how we'll laugh at you as you scream in agony! Shout Glory!!

      YIC,

I pity someone whose life is so empty that he feels a need to join a Christian church's discussion forum, uninvited and unwelcome, to insult strangers.

I also pity someone who is so cowardly that he needs to say these hateful things while hiding behind a ridiculous screenname on a computer, instead of going to his mommy's church and telling her in front of all her friends what he thinks of the religion he was raised in.

          Enjoy Hell.

Oh you want to know how it is to be an atheist? Fine I'll tell you. As an atheist you believe in the Big Bang, not in the whole "God and the seven days"-thing. You are not only driven by animal instincts, how can you even believe that? As an atheist you only have to folloow the laws the sociaty has put up, and not the laws of God. We don't have sex with the nearest whole we can find, and as anatheist, we're joking about every kind of religion in exsisting (spelled correctly?) and we are free to take a little bit of every religion in exsistence and "jokingly" believe in that (personally I think that the reincarnation in Budism is quite an awesome thought). We aren't animals, such as you think, (okay, we've all evolved from monkeys, but you know what I mean. (Yes, as an atheist I believe in evolution, since it's been scientifically proven)). We are much more open minded to the world and accepts things like homosexuality quite easily (spelled correctly?), muslims (alot of my friends are muslims and really nice people ) and many other things.
Now you probably wonder why I'm in here when I'm "unsaved trash" as it says for some reason in my profile? The answer is simple; I find it quite interesting to see how religious people see the world different from atheists, and that it's really interesting to discuss religion and other religious things with them.
Oh, don't feel sorry for us, we feel just as much sorry for you religious people, as you're doing for us atheists. :-)

but since, I'm not christian, I don't think you'll take me seriously when I say this, but I feel like it approbiate to say so anyway in here; but the flames of which you speak, who'll burn the sinners, was a make up by the church in the 15th centuary, to make the sinners follow the laws of God instead of committing sins. I know you may not believe me, but I respect that, just remember I find these kind of conversations rather interesting and besides that, it'll help me in my Religion classes in high school, to get insight in how you people think and react to the ways of the atheists way of thinking.

(Don't hope I get "banned" again for expressing how interesting I think this is, and for saying I'm atheist... -__- )

In other words, you are just here to make the Baby Jesus cry with your mockery of Him.

I just can't understand why you would voluntarily high dive into the lake of fire. At least the catholics have some excuse. They thought they were following Jesus, but you? You know that you're going to burn forever and ever and yet you don't care.

Such a pity. I'll pray for you.
Christians are superior because we possess an understanding that unbelievers lack. It is through the Power of Jesus only the converted mind is able to understand what is going on in the world; what the Communists are really up to; what Satan's intentions are. Most unbelievers do not even believe in Satan and cannot understand his tactics.

No I'm not, I'm here because I find it interesting to see the differences in "lifestyle" and perspective.

If you wonder why I'm atheist, it's because it's really rare in the Scandinavian countries to find someone who's giving their lifes to church. (I've only met one in my entire life, and I'm going at the Talent Academy with her). Besides that, if God really excisted, why would I have gotten such terrible experiences for 15 years? Why did I have to live through such terrible things? The only thing that made me believe (for a really short matter of time) that there really was a God, was two years ago, when my Father FINALLY made suicide. Yes I know it sounds horrible, but I had hoped for the day to occure for as long as I can remember, because of all the things he did to our familly.

Well, just pray if that's what you want to, I don't think it'll change a thing..

Has it entered your head that you could have had such horrible experiences when you were 15 because God made it happen because He knew would be a dirty sinner?

God dose'nt punish people for no reason (how cruel would that be)? You must have been (or will be) a terrible person, indeed.

How can I have been a terrible person? I've had terrible experiences for 15 YEARS not when I was 15. I was a normal person, who was nice to EVERY ONE, even those who bullied me. I did what I was told, kept me to myself, never did anything wrong, and for what? Being bullied for 15 years for being talented, smart, interested in the japanese culture and for reading many books. I got beaten by my father, because he was a psycopath - literally. He was cheating on my mother, hitting us children, always yelling at us, chasing us through town if we didn't want to visit his mother (because we hated her, and our father for that matter). My so called friends betrayed me often because I was "different". I even was a scout just to get away from the bullying. How is that fair for a child who never did anything wrong? Just because I'm atheist doesn't mean I'm a horrible person. I support WSPA - the World Saving Program for Animals, because animals animals are the most innocent creatures you find on this planet. I'm scared of losing the few true friends I've collected after my fathers dead, and after starting all over in a new school, but I can't see what's making me a horrible person.

Let me explain. You don't believe in God, therefore you are a terrible person. It doesn't matter how many good things you did in your life. Bill Gates has saved over 5.8 billion lives, but if he didn't believe in god (I don't know if he does), he is a terrible person.

You can't judge a person on its believe. But would that mean, that if a christian person, is evil to his family, friends etc. he's a good person, just because he believe in God, even if he kills, whores and sins? That's what you're saying, actually.

That's what the LORD is saying! Praise Him! He either sees your sins ("transgressions" and "iniquities," etc, in the Bible), or not. The only way to make Him not see them is to have faith in Christ Jesus.

I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins.
                              Isaiah 43:25

For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.
                              Hebrews 8:12

That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
                              John 3:15

Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost
                              Titus 3:5

So you see, in His mercy, the LORD will politely ignore each and every sin of he who believes! Only such a merciful God could forgive and welcome the likes of serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer, known for kidnapping, raping, killing, and eating boys!
Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

No you can not. The world has changed my friend. That book is like 2000 years old, and the world has moved on but apparently you guys haven't, just saying. :-)

You have no right to judge a person if you don't know the person personally, like, you can't judge for example a person who's violent for being a bad person, if you do not know their background story and by that know why thy act like they act. Only when you know that, you can say if the person is bad, or if it's something in his/hers past who has been a bad influence, religious or not.

As an atheist, you do not care about your God, but about how people around you sees you. We will not let our parents down by dissapointing them with our choices in life and our school work. We worries about following the laws made by society, how our friends and families sees us and about helping lost animals.
