Not entirely sure how I got to this thread from the bible in a year one, but I don't like leaving a question unanswered.

To answer the original question about how athiests feel, it's not so much that they just act like animals, but it's more like, imagine a giant weight on top of your head. Nearly impossible to lift. Now imagine that weight not being able to come of. It feels like that, that there is a really heavy, permanent weight stuck on top of your head. Which also explains why they can be so hateful, they are jealous of all the Christians who don't have that block on their head. The problem is convincing them that their head will not blow off if they just out down the weight for a second. Once you have one experience in Christianity, you never want to go back.

If god was all loving, then why do millions of people die every year through starvation, murder, rapes, the KKK etc?

I don't think God IS all loving. Psalm 11:5 states that he hates the wicked, and those who love violence. As well in Romans 9:13, he is talking about a specific person who he hates, not the sin that was committed by Esau, but the person himself.

Apparently you are slow on the uptake - the prohibition against homosexuality is Jewish law. You know that whole Torah thing,... If for the sake of argument Jesus had been a practicing homosexual he would have stoned to death like the Adulteress in John and not crusified by the Romans for inciting rebellion.
