Is it that the Dutch language always makes people sound drunk, or does Dutch sound that way because all the Dutch are drunk? I've always wondered that. I'm half convinced that Dutch is English as spoken by a person blitzed out of their gourd.

Did you even read the scriptures? Yes we know the Bible was written by man ...SILLY. You think we haven't read the scriptures? Do CEO's of major corporations write their own memo's? Nope, they dictate them to their secretaries. That's how God works.

*Sigh* The point I'm trying to make is that God is a man made image of a perfect being. And the Bible is also written by men trying to prove that God exists, a lot of people believe it, but there is no God. It's the same as saying the flying spaghetti monster is real if there's a book written about it and many people believe it's real.

Can you come with a better argument? Giving me a quote from the Bible doesn't prove anything, except you not being able to come up with an argument. Why? Because the Bible is written by men, you silly

I'm not gay either. Tried watching gay porn one time to see if I was bi or not, and I can confirm I'm 100% straight. It disgusted me, but I encourage people to live the way they want as long as they don't harm others.

    oh, there's nothing left
The passage you tried (unsuccessfully) to quote does not refer to different beliefs. God explains:

    ROMANS 14
    1
Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations.
2 For one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eateth herbs.
3 Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him.
4 Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.
5 One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.
6 He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks.
7 For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself.
8 For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's.
KING JAMES BIBLE · AUTHORIZED VERSION

EVERYONE MENTIONED IN THAT PASSAGE WOULD BE CHRISTIANS, notice in particular verse 8.

What does God command concerning others? Heathens who do not worship God? But wHo worship demons instead? Or who claim to worship nothing at all? But who actually worship SATAN in that case?

    II CHRONICLES 15
13 That whosoever would not seek the LORD God of Israel should be put to death, whether small or great, whether man or woman
    .
14 And they sware unto the LORD with a loud voice, and with shouting, and with trumpets, and with cornets.

    How about these passages, friend?
Leviticus 19:15 Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment: thou shalt not respect the person of the poor, nor honor the person of the mighty: but in righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbour.

Psalm 37:30 The mouth of the righteous speaketh wisdom, and his tongue talketh of judgment.

Proverbs 31:9 Open thy mouth, judge righteously, and plead the cause of the poor and needy.

John 7:24 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.

1st Corinthians 5:12 For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within?
1st Corinthians 5:13 But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.

1st Corinthians 6:1 Dare any of you, having a matter against another, go to law before the unjust, and not before the saints?
1st Corinthians 6:2 Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?
1st Corinthians 6:3 Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?.
1st Corinthians 6:4 If then ye have judgments of things pertaining to this life, set them to judge who are least esteemed in the church.
1st Corinthians 6:5 I speak to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you? no, not one that shall be able to judge between his brethren?
1st Corinthians 6:6 But brother goeth to law with brother, and that before the unbelievers.
(Notice in particular 6:5 where Paul urges us to Judge fellow "brethren" rather than leaving it up to civil authorities.)

    2nd Timothy 4:1 I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;
2nd Timothy 4:2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
    2nd Timothy 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
2nd Timothy 4:4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
2nd Timothy 4:5 But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.

Here is the Glory of beign a True Christian(tm) instead of worthless trash like you:
Psalm 119:1 ALEPH. Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the LORD.
Psalm 119:2 Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart.
Psalm 119:3 They also do no iniquity: they walk in his ways.

1st John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

Acts 22:16 And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.

Romans 6:6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
Romans 6:7 For he that is dead is freed from sin.
Romans 6:8 Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:

John 8:11 She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.

Of course, we know Jesus is batting cleanup for OUR team:

Hebrews 13:5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

Matthew 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Just in case you doubt my (and therefore Gods) word:
Isaiah 29:14 Therefore, behold, I will proceed to do a marvellous work among this people, even a marvellous work and a wonder: for the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hid.

Matthew 18:3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Luke 10:21 In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight.

John 11:7 What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded
John 11:8 (According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear unto this day.

John 12:39 Therefore they could not believe, because that Esaias said again,
John 12:40 He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them.

1st Corinthians 1:17 For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.
1st Corinthians 1:18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.
1st Corinthians 1:19 For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.
1st Corinthians 1:20 Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?

    1st Corinthians 1:23 But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness;
1st Corinthians 1:24 But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.
1st Corinthians 1:25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.
1st Corinthians 1:26 For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:
    1st Corinthians 1:27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;

1st Corinthians 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
1st Corinthians 2:15 But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.

1st Corinthians 3:18 Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.
1st Corinthians 3:19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.
1st Corinthians 3:20 And again, The Lord knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain.

Jude 1:16 These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men's persons in admiration because of advantage.
    Jude 1:17
    But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ;
Jude 1:18 How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.
Jude 1:19 These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.

Romans 14:1-4 As for the one who is weak in faith, welcome him, but not to quarrel over opinions. One person believes he may eat anything, while the weak person eats only vegetables. Let not the one who eats despise the one who abstains, and let not the one who abstains pass judgment on the one who eats, for God has welcomed him. Who are you to pass judgment on the servant of another? It is before his own master that he stands or falls. And he will be upheld, for the Lord is able to make him stand.

God's not the one who ate of the forbidden fruit--that was Adam and Eve's choice. So don't blame God for human screw-ups.

And why does he need a plan?
Because God isn't a 47%er who expects everyone else do do His work for Him. He's a decider.

Surely an all powerful omnipotent being that created the universe wouldn't need humans to re-enact his will?
Of course not. God could have made chimpanzees in His image instead. Sometimes, seeing the sin that surrounds us, I wonder why He didn't.

He does know what's going to happen but won't stop it
    Bingo.

Be knowledgeable about Christianity. If you are a Christian and you believe that the Bible is the direct word of God, then have you read most of it and the Gospels? If not, you may find the person you are trying to convert is better versed in the Bible than you. Remember that atheists live in a world that is mostly religious. They've had to defend their beliefs much more than a Christian who lives in a mostly Christian society.
But DO atheists live in a world that is mostly religious, Mrs Etheldreda?

It is not the case that I've never been a heathen wretch prowling around like an ounce seeking whom she may devour as many understand having been similarly envenomed themselves
    PSALM 40
    2
He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.
3a And he hath put a new song in my mouth .. KJV . look up
prior to hearing His voice and might also remember having avoided churchgoers [mental people as we may have called them, I know I did] more or less like the plague or tsutsugamushi fever.

I was a vile and dissipated thing.

When would I ever have met a Christian? Rarely awake by day unless in some subterranean pit or lurking underneath the arches by sea-ports of ill repute it was my stern resolve to pollute myself in every way imaginable with additional suggestion welcome and yes, they were forthcoming particularly in East Asia and the Northern European hell-holes (as I now know them to be although at the time they appeared tidy and well kept I suppose: that's not always easy to see in the dark is it?)

Now I understand that He has called me to bring His Glory to these people where otherwise they may never hear and it is a challenge I accept because it is a challenge from Him. And although my former life is a dim memory which I never think about at all even when I see those disgusting wantons parading themselves almost as shamelessly as I did myself (probably) their thoughts naked upon their sleeves I recall His encouragement:
    GALATIONS 2
18 For if I build again the things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor.
19 For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God.
20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
21a I do not frustrate the grace of God
