One thing we can agree on is that Astrology is the biggest load of horse shit in the world. That is all.
You are correct about astrology, however, there is no need for foul language. What is a bit disquieting to me, though, is that you are so full of yourself, so arrogant and self-absorbed. That is probably due to your age. As you grow older, you will realize that you do not know everything and that you cannot dismantle anyone's faith or a poweful and well-established religious theology in a matter of a couple of sentences. Your knowledge is much too superficial and your life-experience not nearly extensive enough to undertake such a dismantling.
    Sad, really...

God did know what would happen and warned us. There is just so much evidence for the fulfillment of prophecy in Jesus, the circumstances of His birth, His subsequent torture, the empty tomb, the death brought into the world by Eve and communicated to us all by Adam, the calamity which derives from (causality again) rejecting The Perfect Love of God, the blasting curse in perpetuity (it has nod abated yet) for viewing by one's father of one's grandfather's genitals, the Miracle of Pentecost, the concequences of idolatry (a) the vatican (b) war [but these are the same thing really], the disaster of following black magic & witchcraft & astrology [again, these are all the same thing] all of which disasters befall nations so polluting themselves AND YET YOU SAY in the single example of our eternal destiny God is mistaken?
ROMANS 8:29-31 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? KJV

Obviously not. God is quite clear that here in the world He made real actions have real consequences. You mentioned cancer. That's pretty real as those who deny Christ discover when it kills them. And it's cause is equally real. Death enetred the world through sin. Cause and effect. God knew all about that when He warned us but neither Adam nor Eve took much notice of that she gobbling down whatever took her fancy, he seduced by her libidinous desire.

Eve did not have Pastors. Opting to disregard what Adam had told her resulted in her giving birth to a murderer. Just as God had warned. Today we have The Pastoral Team. God's Promises fulfilled yet again:
II THESSALONIANS 2:13-16we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth: Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle. Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved ushath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace KJV

Why is there death, mourning, crying and pain in the first place? Is it part of God's plan that says that children must die of cancer? He's sick. And why does he need a plan? Surely an all powerful omnipotent being that created the universe wouldn't need humans to re-enact his will? There are only three options here then.
    1. He does know what's going to happen but won't stop it - he's sick.
    2. He doesn't know what's going to happen and can't stop it - he's not worthy of the title "God".
    3. He doesn't exist.

Now which one seems more likely to you?
    4. None of the above.

God is God, He knows why He does things, and He certainly doesn't have to explain anything to us, His creation. He creates good and evil (Isaiah 45:7).

Also, suffering on earth gives True Christians™ bonus points (Matthew 5:4, 10-12).

I love how you used "miserable life". So you think your life is miserable? Life is one of the most amazing things about the universe and your're putting it on hold because of a presumed afterlife? Baffling.

Isn't that a truly satisfying feeling, that we have only our short miserable life to repent and accept Christ, and after we die, we have the eternity to suffer or enjoy the consequences of our decision?

No, it doesn't feel cold. It feels humbling. This is because I have the knowledge that a huge cloud of Hydrogen collapsed upon itself to form a sphere of hydrogen. When that sphere got dense enough, the core got to around 15,000,000 K and ignited the sun's fusion process. The debris left over from the formation of the sun coalesced to form many planets, including Earth. This one tiny speck of dust in the cosmic perspective. But, an organism such as the human being has flourished here and thrived. I'm happy to be one of these humans, and when I die, it won't be with fear but with fulfilment.

    Thank you.

And, you expect us to believe this? You are cold with fear, knowing you have sinned and will be held accountable.

The only people who do not fear hell are True Christians™. Do yourself a favor, abandon your pointless life as an atheist and find Jesus.

He is such a bitter, angry knob gobbler, and no doubt lonely as he has shut Jesus from his heart. You did him a good Christian kindness, Sister Felicity. May he use this time of reflection constructively in prayer.

Just because in your own mind you are right justifies that no one else is? God I have not met someone more close-minded than you. God doesn't speak to me because he doesn't exist. God won't redeem me because he doesn't exist. God doesn't have an infinite capacity to love because he doesn't exist. As soon as you realize how crappy your life is without the ability to constantly put people down on some dumb extremist Internet forum, you will kill yourself and actually make your mom proud for the first time in your short, sad life
