    Helping in Times of Sorrow

A lot of True Christians™ and those who aspire to that spiritual level ask me, “Mr Bathfire, Sir, <insert personal tragedy inflicted by God at His whim or for punishment of your sins or the sins of anyone, yea even unto the tenth generation>. My wife/son/other type of child seems very upset, is there anything I can do to help them understand?”

Unlike God, we pastors cannot be everywhere at once, nor can we take time off raising funds for such things as Landover’s private jet; the much needed replacement of the jacuzzis or the replenishing of the wine cellar, therefore I have looked for books that might help those who do not have the mental faculties and understanding of God’s ways that a man/husband has.

I recently came across this book; I hasten to add that I have not yet read it, but, in principle, it seems to be just what is needed.

Naturally, none of us can explain the inexplicable Wonder of God, but the book looks promising. If you have a copy of this or any other book that might help, please let the rest of the members know.
