When I brought Gary his dinner the other night, he was watching the football on TV and I couldn't help but notice once again what great athletes black people are.
I was really amazed by that young running back Reggie Bush. The raw animal strength of this man was remarkable. His hunched shoulders and the fierce, almost sentient look in his eyes made him resemble a proud silverback, stalking through the jungle after its prey. But he moved with such grace and speed—it reminded me of the spider monkeys I used to see at the zoo when I was a kid. It's amazing what a few extra muscle fibers and centuries of slavemasters selecting only the strongest bucks and sows to pick their cotton can produce.
Does anyone else agree with me that black people are really great athletes? I sure do!
