Brother Hatchet, thank you for coming to my defense. The truth is, the semi-colon in question is not a semi-colon at all, but a marked-out-comma that has been colored red. Unfortunately, the marked-out-indicator (a dash) didn't get colored red, and it appeared as a colon. There should be no extra punctuation in the sentence.

Also, IC, I'd recommend proofreading your posts when criticizing other's editing skills.

Your editing skills are at it again. There's not supposed to be two commas with one before and one after 'so'. Also, the 'Stupid.' at the end was to emphasize it. I know it's not a complete sentence. Stupid.
