    Beverly Hills Chihuahuas:
Finally, An Educational Film About Mexicans the Whole Family Can Enjoy!

PLEASE NOTE: THE VIEWS STATED IN THIS FILM REVIEW ABSOLUTELY DO REFLECT THE OPINONS AND BELIEFS OF EACH MEMBER OF THE LANDOVER BAPTIST CHURCH

Freehold, Iowa - Christian families in the Landover Baptist community will be treated to an advance screening of the new Mexican American Educational film, Beverly Hills Chihuahuas. "We really want to make this film mandatory viewing for our church members who have hired Mexican help over the years," says Pastor Deacon Fred. "Sure, we all have a pretty good hunch about where steaming pile of poop on our new living room carpet came from, but this movie is about more than assuaging our suspicions. As God is my witness, if your Christian family has recently hired a Mexican maid or gardener, or if you are thinking about getting your home painted by Mexicans, this film will prepare you and educate you about not only what to expect, but also what to watch out for!"

A script for the film was sent to the Landover Baptist Society for the Study of Inferior Cultures several weeks ago. "We thought it was too good to be true," said Pastor Hector Wilkins, a former Mexican working closely with Christian educators to develop Landover's new elementary school cultural studies curriculum. "I've been telling people for years that observing a Chihuahua for about 10-minutes can teach us more about Mexicans than any program we could ever come up with. Praise Jesus! My prayers have been answered!"

"Those sly Jewish executives in Hellywood must have dangled enough jalapeños to feed a busload of greasy border-hoppers at casting call, cause this film is chock-full of Latinos," said Pastor Deacon Fred. "Having all them Mexicans on board really adds authenticity to the picture. I gotta tell you, when you hear a Mexican accent coming out of a Chihuahua's mouth, it really solidifies one's pre-conceived notions about Mexican language, behavior, appearance, and basically what drives these sad faced little bug-eyed creatures to do the things they do in order to get ahead in the world! Oh, shout Glory!"

"The cast reads like a who's who list of Mexicans someone felt sorry enough for to give a real job," says Pastor. "Real life south of the border styling celebrities like; Andy Garcia, George Lopez, Cheech Marin, Paul Rodriguez, and Salma Hayek (who my wife says is perfect, because she has such a pinched up little face, she already looked like a Chihuahua so they saved money on prosthetics) were more than eager to lend their funny accents to the snouts of the movie's main characters. I've been told that the film is about a pack of Chihuahuas (Mexicans) who try to cross over the border when they find out that young, angel-white skinned girls like Paris Hilton can give them gourmet scraps and a good life in Beverly Hills as pets (or as we call them: servants). The theme of the film directly parallels the real life sneaky dreams and hopes of the poor little loveable hairy Mexicans down south. Why, I've even taken to calling our gardener, Tito, my little Chihuahua already," Pastor joked. "And I ain't even seen the doggone movie yet! Glory to God!"

"I remember not too long ago, there was a silly controversy surrounding the Taco Bell Chihuahua," Pastor told a closed meeting of Deacons earlier this week. "The Mary-Worshipping Mexicans thought they were being stereotyped, and Taco Bell actually pulled thousands of commercial spots. Well, times do change. And those Mexicans who were upset have likely gotten themselves into some adult remedial education in the evenings after cleaning toilets all day. So they learned good about their place in life and how to be content with it. My guess is that they just decided to get on board for a movie that lets kids know its okay to check off Chihuahua next to Mexican on their next analogy exam. I look forward to hearing my grandchildren shout, Look Grandpa! a talking Chihuahua! every time they see a Mexican on TV.

"I think everyone who sees the movie will agree," says Pastor Deacon Fred, "Beverly Hills Chihuahuas is a film that not only educates and informs decent, hard-working real Americans about the culture, history, mannerisms, and subtle deviance of the funny-talking, curious little servants the good Lord blessed us with, but it is an affirmation from influential Latin American actors who somehow managed to find real jobs that it is a-ok to embrace the Chihuahua as a symbol of everything Mexican. Now I know why our old maid, Maria Hernandez (God rest her Pope-loving, rosary bead-counting soul) drank out of our toilet! Glory!"

Important Update For Landover Baptist University Students:

Landover Baptist University students who have registered for the fall semester course: "Latin American Cultural Studies" will receive a full 3 credits for the course if they bring in a movie ticket stub from the film, "Beverly Hills Chihuahuas." This will allow students to register for an additional class this semester. Please check with your counselors as "Latin American Cultural Studies" will be removed from the Fall curriculum and blotted from the University catalogue going forward.

Speed Racer: Homos, Whores & Hallucinogens

TRUE CHRISTIAN™ MOVIE REVIEW BY BROTHER HARRY HARDWICK

The ‘60s was Satan’s decade, giving us the scourges of marijuana, LSD, women’s lib, long hair on fellows who weren't saviors, the pill and people whose mamas should have been on the pill -- like that troublemaker, Martin Luther King, Jr. The dish of the day was immorality -- with a side order of disrespect. Free love was the mantra, as bedroom antics featured men with women, men with men, women with women, and priests with baby boomers. "Fun," of the secular variety, was the word of the times, as young people contaminated their minds with booze, pills, profane anti-war chanting, smack -- everything but the Holy Bible." It was only by the grace of God that fire and brimstone didn’t fall upon the nation. Of course, given the attire, hair and hygiene of the time, Jesus was probably wary of returning when He wouldn’t stand out in a crowd.

Perhaps the worst legacy of the period was an animated pornographic series called “Speed Racer.” For those of you who don’t know, a “Speed Racer” is a combination of cocaine and black mollies, crushed and snorted through a straw. Users act like Robin Williams after a few sips of espresso at Starbuck’s. They become easily aroused and sexually promiscuous. All of the cartoon’s characters were hopped up on this devilish drug. They spoke so rapidly that the sound track frequently moved faster than their lips. Half the time, you couldn’t see their lips moving at all. Their bodies moved so fast, we often didn’t see them travel from one spot to the other. One second, their arms and legs would be in one place. The next second, they’d be in an entirely different place.

The FCC eventually banned the cartoon for its immorality. But with our President’s approval ratings hanging lower than the devil’s scrotum, and militant feminist Communists running Congress, Hollywood has brazenly decided to convert this trash into a film, this time, with real people playing the drug-abusing, sex-addicted drawings. But since the characters are written by typical Hollywood writers, the live characters have still managed to remain cartoons. As in the TV series, the main character, named after the vicious drug, is a stereotypical, pretty boy Nellie in search of constant sexual thrills. Homosexual Emile Hirsch, who seemed right at home portraying a disgusting transvestite who dressed as his own mother in “The Mudge Boy,” was the perfect choice. His sexual appetite knows no bounds, including even his sister, an anorexic (or is it, heroin addicted?) tramp, aptly named “Trick-sey.” With Nicole Ritchie perpetually facing jail time, the producers wisely selected the sexually confused lollipop-head Christina Ricci for Speed’s incestuous love interest. The movie even hints that Speed is involved with his pre-pubescent brother, “Straddle.” The brother has a pet monkey, and the two of them often sneak into the trunk of Speed’s car and . . . well, let’s leave it at that, but you know what they say about monkeys and a ripe banana.

The most disgusting part of this film occurs in the second half, when it becomes clear that Speed longs to be “topped” (and I don’t mean in the race) by his chief rival, Racer-X, convincingly played by Matthew Fox. Not surprisingly, Racer-X is named after the drug known to enhance the libido more than any other. Racer-X is tall, broad-shouldered and muscular, and he has such an enormous package that it looks like it would bring down a Fed-Ex plane. It is shapely and . . . well, I digress. Speed is clearly infatuated with Racer-X, and while the movie doesn’t show their shaved behinds, it is clear they subjugate themselves to sensational slippery sodomic sex-capades in the lubricant-rich grease pits conveniently placed beside the race tracks whenever they get a chance! I hate to provide spoilers, but after reading the above, would it surprise you to learn that Racer-X turns out to be Speed’s brother? Watching this movie is like watching a day in the life of a Little Rock trailer park, right before a much-needed tornado hits. What a shame God hasn’t shown the same contempt for Warner Bros. that He has shown recently for Arkansas.

      Re: True Christian™ Movies

I wish those hook-nosed moneygrubbing Jews in HELLywood would make some quality family entertainment. The stuff they put out these days makes me ill. I could come up with better entertainment in five minutes than what they put out in an entire YEAR.

      How about these ideas:

"The James Earl Ray Story" The tragic story of how a poor, innocent army veteran was framed for killing an uppity black man.

"My Dinner with Delores" I've told my wife Delores a dozen times or more that they should make a movie of our delightful dinner conversation. She always agrees, although sometimes not quickly enough for her own good.

"The Byron De La Beckwith Story" The tragic story of how a poor, innocent Marine veteran was framed for killing an uppity black man.

"A Hard Day's Osmond" The adventures of a mop-topped musical family of 812 kids.

"Minstrel Days: The Musical" A lighthearted musical romp through Freehold's delightful yearly celebration of White pride and Negro inferiority.

"The Constant Topiary Shubber" The heroic story of an international black market organ broker and the lives of the wealthy international businessmen he saves.

"McCain" A sweeping biopic of the next President of the United States starring Tom Bosley as John McCain and Cruella DeVille as his wife Cyndi.

"Fuzzy Zoeller Unplugged" Two hours of the wit and wisdom of pro golfer Fuzzy Zoeller.

"Osmondmania!" A wacky look at America's most popular singing family of 800 or more.

"Stuck in an Elevator with Roger Mudd" The story of a man driven to madness after being stuck in an elevator for two hours with former History Channel host Roger Mudd.

"Osmondpalooza!" America's most popular 800+ member singing family sings today's top hits.

"The South Beach Diet" A kind-hearted cannibal cleans up Miami's South Beach by devouring teenage runaways. Nobody knows they're there, you see, so he gets away with it. He doesn't really live there, and he's a pretty wealthy Midwestern businessman, you see, so no one suspects. But he travels there four or five times a year, takes a hotel room, picks out his victim, and prepares the meat in the shower and takes it home to Iowa. Oh, he nearly got caught once back in 2003, but the bellman believed his story about the bad cut and the hospital, but he changed hotels the next time just to be sure. And he always uses an assumed name, Joseph Connor, uh, I mean Bill Stevens. Yes. Bill Stevens. That's the fake name he uses in Miami. Bill Stevens.

        Good Christian Movies

I wanted to see what are some good movies my fellow True Christians enjoy, and would recommend.

Personally, I have always been a fan of "Carrie" (watch it on broadcast television, if possible, to avoid the vulgarity and nudity). It's the story of a good loving mother who discovers her harlot daughter is a witch and tries her best to beat it out of her. The ending is a bit of a downer, as the power of Satan overcomes the mother's love at the end, but it's worth the ride just to finally see wonderful Christian parenting finally portrayed on screen.

I recommend any of these Ronald Reagan films.
It's good family entertainment from the man that brought us trickle down economics. Mr. Reagan was of course the mentor to "the economy is fundamentally sound" John McCain. What's not to like?
                Start popping the popcorn.

For you serious film buffs, check out any of the Ronald Reagan "Bonzo" movies. These are deep thought provoking works of art. Some people put them right up there with John Huston and Frank Capra. My favorite is Bedtime for Bonzo.

Hey all. The Film Studies teacher at Landover Baptist University has let me post some of the reviews the students had to write for their final essay. I'll post some of the better ones.

                  E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial

                  O.R. = Over-Rated

I hate to play the "heretic", but this flick is mildly entertaining, at best. It was, and is, about as much of a "classic" as a Cabbage Patch Doll, or a "Tickle Me Elmo". If anything, it's a monument to MARKETING.

                      A Hard Day's Night

If you like this film, don't read this review!

There are many reasons why i don't like this film. Firstly, the Beatles trying to be actors is incredibly annoying (well lets face it, they're not much as musicians). If you want to see 4 guys with massive egos running around trying to be clever, this film is for you. Ringo's music ability reflects in his acting. This isn't just a Beatles rant though. The film lacks any kind of narrative, and the mise-en-scene is utterly boring. The only credit i can give this film is that it captures the feeling of entrapment well. but on the whole, you are not missing much here.

                      It's A Wonderful Life

                      Bad film

Although my opinion is not the general consensus, I think this is a horrible film. Clarence taunts Bailey, rather than providing a supportive ear (for instance, when Clarence is in the water crying, "help, help"), and when he is in the bar also. I sat through this film once, because somebody else wanted me to watch it with them. I slept through a good portion of it as well, and it was probably better that I did. I don't feel that I missed much, by not watching the film in it's entirety. This could have been a great film if Clarence had been more empathic with Bailey, rather than mocking, laughing at, and talking moralistically to him.

                      King Kong (1933)

                      Get With the Friggin' Program!

*** This comment may contain spoilers ***

I think the remake of this tale is awesome, but the first? I mean come on! First, it's black and white. BLACK AND WHITE?! Good God! If your going to be serious with something, then put some effort and use color! I know that Kong dies at the end, but in Black and White, it makes you go "What the frick is going on? Is a dog fighting of an evil puppet master?

And also, what's up with Kong? In every scene he looks like a drunk monkey doing the robot after snorting a little as well. I mean his eyes are just about the size of Peter Jackson's Waistline! Anyway, If your a blind and/or deaf guy, you will think that this is the best movie ever. But otherwise, stay away!

The Lord of the Rings trilogy

Loved the first part Hated the second

Battle scenes make 90% of the movie. More than enough to walk out... Even the more interesting characters become boring in such a context. What a disappointment !

The three movies deal with serial murders, incest, drugs, violence, a goth "heroine", a pock-marked lieberal magazine publisher, neo-nazis, and foul Swedish winter weather.

For the cynics out there wondering why a well-respected member of the Freehold Judiciary would be so familiar with these trashy films, it's because I was forced to watch all six hours(!) of the films. The films were entered into evidence in an animal abuse case involved with kitten juggling. The perp had an alarming resemblance to Charles Manson.

I cried myself to sleep that night - harmless little kittens flipped into the air, twisting, turning, mewing in pain. I tasted scotch (it was a rather nice single malt from Glen Wanda) at 3 AM just to settle my nerves.

The next day I sentenced the Manson look-alike to hanging, sent his attorney to do some hard time, and shut down his law office. His law clerk saw her Glock 9 MM forfeited and daughter sent to Juvenile Hall.

                        Anyway, avoid these films.

                        Oh, Lord, I hate Swedes.

                          Psycho (1960)

Strictly for all the psychos based all over the world

After having heard all the noise surrounding this film,I decided to watch this film as I had to give a presentation of a Stephen Rebello's book based on this film for my teacher Monsieur François Thomas at Cinema studies section of the University of Paris 3 Sorbonne Nouvelle. I was utterly disappointed as this film was not so chilling as I had expected it to be.Psycho is more of a character study of some oddball persons. In the beginning Hitchcock takes us on a guilt trip of a woman who is in love with a married man.Funny thing is that both of them know that they cannot find any happiness in their so called secret love.Later on we are taken for a ride as this bizarre woman steals a lot of money and without any rhyme nor reason decided to leave her hometown. Now everybody knows what happens after that.Psycho is a film about matter of taste. It might have appealed to the people of the sixties with their fascination for things black and white. But Psycho does not make any sense in the colored era of 2007.

                          Star Wars (1977)

                          Highly overrated

This movie is really convincing...for children. The storyline is so unbelievably vague and the special effects only serve as filler material for an otherwise lackluster movie. I am definitely not looking forward to another Star Bores film. *yawn*

                          Blade Runner

                          Boring film

I can't understand why it's one of the best sci-fi films ever made....it was too slow....can someone shed some light on what in the movie made it so eccentric and outstanding??

                          Bonnie and Clyde

Don't bother with this 60's trash

No one who loves good movies will like this one. Despite whatever "groundbreaking" violence it may have depicted, it fails as entertainment on every level. Faye Dunaway's Bonnie Parker has a 60's hairstyle, for heaven's sake!

A good general rule is to avoid all movies made during the drugged-up 60's and 70's. If you want to see gangster films, just rent Public Enemy, Scarface, or The Roaring Twenties. You could watch them over and over again and never get tired, while you will hardly be able to finish Bonnie and Clyde once.

                            .
I am so glad you mentioned Faye Dunaway, Bother Basher, because another of her "films', The Thomas Crown Affair, was remade and featured Rene Russo in the role that Dunaway did earlier.

I watched a sex scene in the remake several times to see if Russo measured up to the role Dunaway trashed. She didn't do it.

I have this advice for the Brothers and Sisters here, Don't Watch It! Do not watch the scene in the remake! It is quite tawdry and will only make your want to watch it again. Don't Do It!

The whole Star Wars thing was nothing more than a ploy buy George Lucas to push the gay lifestyle down the collective throats of America. Sadly Lucas succeed.

Just look at the gay subtext in the movie.

Homosexual Daddy Little boy relationship; Luke and Obi Wan Kenobi.

Fear of Vaginal Sex: The trench scene over the Death Star were most of the Rebel Pilots (clearly lampshaded gay bikers) died.

                              Homosexual BDSM top: Darth Vader.

Choking Sex: The scene were Vader force chokes the Imperial officer in the conference room. Please note the tight uniforms all the Imperial Officers were wearing.

Transvestism: Princess Leiah (how transparent can you get)

Gay Bar Lifestyle: Mois Eisly catina scene.

Rubber suit fetishism: the Storm Troopers.

                              Vibrators: R2D2

I mean heck the open scene in Star Wars is a space ship anally sodomizing another spaceship. There are just layers upon layers of filth in that movie. Frankly I am outraged Star Wars didn't get a "X" rating but that is Hollywood for you.
